I'm from Florence. I love my little city lol. So much history here but I can say a lot of things they try to keep hidden here too. Sadly a few murders have happened in the Bottom and people demonize North Florence a lot because the reputation it had in the 80s and 90s. The more wealthy areas are on the West and South ends of town. But for the most part, people are kind here and wave like they know you. Ppl drive like bats outta hell tho lol.

I’m from a middle class family, and my parents works factory jobs to have what we have. But I’m sure the adults who live in those neighborhoods work much harder than my parents did. I grew up on the east side of Detroit, and currently still live in Detroit. You think you sound intelligent, you're reading way too much into it. Hood is short for neighborhood which can be a good or bad one. When people use it this way it is generally assumed to be in a bad way which usually mean low income, high crime, can be crowded, filthy etc. There is no secret knowledge you have as to what constitutes a hood, that's all there is to it, it's not complicated. I was there. It's a hood. Keep in mind a "hood" is relative to the area. What is considered hood in one city can be a nice or decent neighborhood in another. This is a hood in Florence SC, and a legitimate one, with gang banging, drugs, prostitution, etc.

Common sight in all the videos: Unkept lawns and homes. They just looked like no one cares about their property. It don’t take money to clean up your lawn or property. So poverty is no excuse. Nicer domestic made cars. Very few imports. Some have fancy wheels worth more then the cars are worth. Yards in disarray. Looks like no one ever picks up after them selves. Just plain lazy. Not a contractor van in sight or a company pick up of any kind. Cars look abandoned in the drive way. Like someone just gave up on them. Biggest theme I see is, when you do see people , they look like they are just wondering around almost looking like they are doing it aimlessly. Just walking.... Also looks like code enforcement just gave up on these areas. Come to my city and park on the lawn and u get a warning the next day. A ticket after that and it increases every time. But no these areas. They all have cars on the lawns. Those are things I spotted in all this mans videos. It’s crazy how similar they are.
