My son spent many months in hospital, stuck in a hospital bed and not even feeling fresh air for months. (9 months out of the first year of his life for multiple reasons). When he was discharged, me and his Auntie Chellie took him on holiday to Copenhagen. My sons first holiday. His Auntie Chellie filmed the entire holiday and compressed it into a beautiful miniature film and used this song as the background music. The bit about her taking the light from her eyes and making a map made me think it was about telling yourself, before you fall in love, that no matter how much you love someone you should remember that love shouldn't make you sad. So when you're falling in love, and you lose your reasoning because you're blinded by that love, you'll remember what you really want.
