The only thing that will make it go up and intensities a solar storm or human interference. The water in the golf is way too cold and way too, turned up from the hurricane for it to get that high. There’s no heat wave down here in the south east. These are normal fall temperatures. I would say it’s actually colder this year than it was last year.

Hey Diamond, thanks for the show. Why is it with the recent X flares the data seems to not reflect increased activity? I've noticed the other data, other than flare rating, sometimes doesn't reflect flare intensity consistently. Even the aruras, like you were saying, should be spectacular given the source intensity. Just wondering how plasma would play into this situation. Electric universe parameters may be the reason why...........

Tampa Bay's particular geography make it (and New Orleans) the most dangerous location -- a "bowl" shaped water-holding location -- for Gulf Hurricanes. I live near New Orleans, so I remember this warning. "Vertical evacuation" -- sheltering in a tall cement building like an office building -- had once been considered advisable, and it still makes sense for those not able to drive away or fly away or afford staying in hotels in other states. God please help us all!

If you're in & around Tampa or storm path, start to drive away/evacuate at least 2 days sooner than you think you need to. Thousands were trapped in bumper to bumper interstate stalled traffic trying to flee from Katrina, rode storm out on the interstate! Also no gasoline left at stations en route to anywhere. DON'T WAIT TO EVACUATE.

VERTICAL EVACUATION used to be recommended for TB and for NO, LA because of low land & bowl shape geography. It might be worth considering for Tampa & vicinity residents.

Way too early for that. In a Cat 3 & up, YOU DON'T WANT TO BE THERE. Because you won't likely be there the next day. I'm a 75 yr old native New Orleanian-living on north shore of Lake Pontchartrain with daily commute to city to work before retirement. Gulf sharks were swimming in water covered (suburban Metairie) highways for days after Katrina. Betsy was a killer storm when I was in my teens in NO suburbs. In my 20's, I helped clean up the Mississippi gulf coast after Camille, which completely obliterated a shoreline two story brick on concrete foundation/slab apartment complex. NOTHING remained. No foundation, no windows, not a splinter. That storm surge washed a large seagoing vessel completely upon the shore.

BRING THE AXE IN THE HOUSE !!! 🪓 My dad's storm prep every year was to bring the axe into the house, so altho inland, west of New Orleans on high ground ("Metairie ridge" geographically), we could chop our way out the attic in case of flood. He already had enough rope to tie us to trees if needed to keep us from floating away. MANY died in N O in Katrina by drowning in their attics..... no one talks about "Hurricane parties" here any more...😢😭💔
