Hey guys, very nice tour and when I saw Sigsbee island...wow my family lived right where the rv park is in 1964-65. There is a cell phone tower now that is where our boat dock was with our house just upland from the dock. 882 Main st was our address. The whole island was navy housing back then. Thanks for the memories!

Seeing this video reminded me of my wife's and my trip to Key West in February this year. We drove our GMC 2500 diesel downtown and it took us about an hour to find parking. Luckily we saw another large truck pull out of a space but it was up a one-way street (there are a lot of them) and we had to circle around a couple blocks, hoping and praying the spot would still be there. Sure enough, we're in business and had a fantastic time downtown! The only issue is that our dog wasn't enthralled with the chickens roaming the streets. :)

Awesome guys! We are here in Key West for Christmas and staying at Sigsbee until late Jan! Cory and Jesse and the girls are here each year as well. Love seeing all the great KW sights in you vids. We just ate at Blue Heaven last week with some family who flew down from the cold mid-west for a short three day stay. Even though I was a S-3 Vikikng 'AT" I now support the Hawkeye program! Maybe some day we can share some Sea Stories...

I always enjoy your Keys episodes. We go to KW for a week in January every year. We swap out daily between Blue Heaven and 2 Friends for brunch. The Blue Heaven Lobster Benedict is my FAVORITE! Both have great Bloody Marys. Next month can’t get here fast enough!!

It looks like you had fun fishing. Funny thing is I've probably been by the oldest house in Key West at least a half dozen times and I never realized it was there. Then again it might not have been a tourist attraction when I was down there in the 70s. Keep the good stuff coming guys.

We're currently in Key West. We'll be here for Christmas and New Years. We are staying at the MWR @ Sigsbee. It's only $26 p/night (Dry Camping, $47 p/night for full hook-up, if you can get it). Have y'all ever been here??? It's beautiful!!!!

What a great video. Historic house with a great tour and getting on the water. Late eighty's my family and four others towed our 25, 26 foot family cruisers to the Keys from MN. Have boated quite a bit on Superior which has some water depth we were glued to the depth finders as 7 and 8 feet deep is common. When I saw 8.6 on Mike's I just went yep. Not sure if they still play the video at Pennekamp but Captain Slate was famous for feeding Barracuda underwater with small fish from his hand and his mouth. If you watch closely you can see one time when the Barracuda missed slightly and bit his finger off. You could see it floating in the water column. They were able to reattach it.

🐓Key West Oldest House. The Paul Simon look alike painting;, Victorian dress (horror in the summer months🥵) n the Bed, cant imagine sleeping on that! I hv always been curious about the meaning of old expressio such as, "sleep tight' Apparently this 19th century phrase isn't, as is often wrongly claimed, a reference to the tightness of the strings used to support mattresses. 🤔'Tight' just means 'soundly/properly' and 'sleep tight' just means 'sleep soundly'. The word was chosen cuz of its rhyme with night, so people wished each other 'good night, sleep tight' The fishing charter was neat, 🎣 those we're some exotic fish
