Love the format of this video. I really like seeing the before, during and after. I was taking note of the plants used since I am going to be doing my backyard. I also really enjoyed the plant care you included. That was really appreciated. I am in the Phoenix Arizona area and I seems like most of the plants in that bed they will grow here. Thank you for sharing all of your wonderful experience with us. 😘

Oh I would absolutely come up from FLL for the book meet and greet!!! ❤ I also loved the format of this video, especially the tips you give to homeowners is awesome to hear! My only question on this one is how to edge the grass without throwing mulch everywhere? I have to go borderless for cost.
@TrueGardener11 күн бұрын
Thank you so much, that means a lot! I can’t wait to do a meet and greet one day! As for edging the grass without throwing mulch everywhere, I know it’s pretty basic, but we just use an edger like most lawn services do. It’s simple but effective and keeps everything looking clean. Hope this helps! 💚

Oh I LOVE THIS! I am a DIYer and I love your channel it’s so amazing for us in Florida trying to create beautiful landscapes. I want my back yard to look just like yours. The soil is what I’m struggling with I will have to bring in soil by the truck load. I only have sand, rock, and fill dirt in my front and back yard. What soil should I be looking to buy? What should I ask a landscape supplier? I have been buying really good soil by the bag but I need so much more than that.

❤True Gardener I have been watching, studying everything you have done. I am unfortunately on the west side north of Tampa. I definitely a DIYer. I would like to pick your brain on integrating the tropical with Ligustrum hedges and 2 huge oak trees in the backyard. Any suggestions? You have been such and inspiration. Thank you!!!!

How to keep the weeds out of this new bed. Did you put down landscape cloth? I redid an area and tried to remove all the nutgrass first, then put down Dewitt commercial and home weed block barrier since it is supposed to let water through. In a week the nutgrass had poked holes through the barrier! I have tried with just mulch and can't keep up with the weeds. I love your videos. I am in Englewood on the W Coast zone 10A.
