The State Attorney for whom I worked did his job without playing politics like this woman. He did not appear for a press conference until his office got a press-worthy conviction. He had a long career in his circuit. May the injured deputy have a full and speedy recovery. Thanks to him for being the boots on the ground actually protecting his community.

He was impaired. Who knows what mixture of alcohol and drugs were in his system. What he did was outrageous and unforgivable, but people who are impaired make poor decisions. Things like this are why body video units are so important. But are the police stretching the Law going after his girlfriend and mother Police should not make anyone into a criminal. And when he talks about how bad some people are when it comes to crossing the line and harming people should remember. The Tuttle's in Texas were the HPD turn there home into a warzone The ATF raid on the Little Rock airport mangers home at O Dark 30. The kid in South Carolina shot in the side and back after he sells a little pot and the officer runs up screening's like he was high on PCP with his weapon out. When the kid panic and start to drive off the office opens up killing him in the fast food parking lot. No body should run from officers and all police cars should have two officers. But one has to ask why an officer would place his self in danger by walking in the path were he is in danger. Did he call for back up before or after he was run down. Was he run down in the driveway of the car's owner or in some random driveway to avoid police. As far as pot goes When was the last time you heard of a. College kids Over doseding and dieing Alcohol yes many times Police being call because of pot smokers causing trouble and fighting. Never Alcohol all most ever day When was the last time you heard of pot smoker's causing an accidental killing some one. Alcohol all most ever mouth Bad laws help no one and trying to load up the mother and girlfriend possibly is crossing the line. How many times have bad officers cross the line and move on to another police department and killed someone or hurt them. Don't get me wrong I support police 24/7 and always will. Hopefully the officer will make a full recovery and perhaps the FOP and police Departments will pull there's head out of the little brown Holes they all have to wipe And put two officers in all cars especially at night. Had he been killed one has to ask if he would have been laying there for hours. And don't forget some K9 officers have let there dog attack people for no reason. I just threw up a little in my mouth. Children can't get Medicaid dental care without waiting weeks if not months. Nut jobs are playing politics on the school boards. Children who have suffered emotional or physical trauma can't get the mental health therapy they need. DCF is privatized and bad case managers just jump from one CBC to another and families in the system may have 4 different case managers while they are trying to obtain services. Spend some time doing volunteer work in your community and you won't be so enamored of Republicans.
