New procedure that should be Implemented: 1) Make the Stop, call In Plates, with vehicle description, specially Color and features. 1a) Request assistance from the closest LEO in the area ( that will arrive into the back Perp's vehicle)bumper to bumper. 2) Quickly drive around Perp's automobile 3) Position Patrol in front of Perp's Vehicle, bumper to bumper..(constant visual reference). 4) Request vehicle's keys be tossed on Top of Perp's vehicle hood (PA system). 5) Upon arrival of the assisting Officer, Only then,initiate the Intervention. (Always assuming the driver is a Wanted man, until proven Not to be.) * We are living in a New Era...of Police work, Academy"s Sillabus should be re-structure.

Can't Hillsborough Co afford some decent body cameras. They are so blurry that it looks like they rubbed grease all over the lens. Why would this TV station bother showing this to their viewers. Take up a collection. I'll donate. Ridiculous!

11 years on job and he didn't realize that once the car drives off that you treat it as a high risk stop which means not walking around it casually?????? Hopefully he fully recovers, but he screwed up.

He didn’t walk to the front of his patrol car, it was towards the back. Seems like the driver was already fleeing , when the trooper got in the way! Officer should chill on the way he handles situations

Police procedures need to be changed, so that the squad car needs to park bumper to bumper, in cases like this. Had this officer done so, he wouldn't be where he is now.
