That part of St. Augustine is so low that "king tides", rain events, or nor'easters often cause the same minor degree of flooding.

Lots of people and prayer groups were praying for Florida. Thank you, God, for answering prayers so that the storm wasn't as bad as expected. 🙏

@Brink.9Сағат бұрын
That’s not the storm surge ya big dumbo 😂😂 they’re literally talking about how St Augustine was SPARED. Open your ears. Read a book…or five. There was 15 feet of storm surge.

Thankfully not Helene as it dropped to Cat 3. But difference is 36+ tornadoes formed. If a Cat 4 or 5. It would have been historic.

If it was worse, it would have been worse.

That kind of flooding happens every time it rains in Saint Augustine

The wrath and judgement ⚖ of Allah is upon America!
@carelgoodheir692Сағат бұрын
Rubbish. There is no wrath or judgement from God whatever name you call him. Hurricanes are natural phenomena, made rather worse by heating the sea.
