The beauty and genius of seperate state and federal government is that there is a state for everyone without the federal politians demanding groupthink and compliance.. I grew up in palm beach gardens went to jupiter high school. If you are a woke liberal we dont want you here any more than you want to be here. Go get you some California or NYC or any other liberal democrat state or city and suffer under that mess resulting from those places that embrace your ideas. Thank you for your videos. This one on the new laws is very helpful. As a realtor who holds open houses by myself and meets strangers at a vacant home, I feel safer knowing I have a gun with me and I took the carry course and have a Florida Carry Permit. I take this very seriously because I personally know of a fellow realtor while living and working in Tennesse who lost her life while showing a potential buyer a hone. Thank you again for the info on upcoming changes to our laws. I would like to know your take on the NAR's law suit concerning commissions.

We had to do a background check when we applied that was before the new laws went into place but from what I understand everyone who's commented said you still have to have a background check which makes perfect sense.

I'll clear this up. You no longer need a permit to carry in Florida as long as you're not otherwise prohibited from owning a firearm. There are still places you cannot carry. When you buy a gun from a dealer you have to have a background check, permit to carry or not. If you have a permit then you don't have to wait to get your gun. If you don't then you wait.

The only one I question the wisdom up is that last one open carry yes concealed carry. I’m not so sure about because carry if an officer stops you somewhere. He’s going to see the gun and be able to protect himself. Let’s face it. There are psychos out there concealed carry I think you need to be checked out and licensed for carry is a constitutional right protected there in concealed carry should require a license though.

Great video! I refer to this state as Flori-Duh, due to the collective intelligence declining rapidly in the past 20 years or so. Florida used to be a very nice place to live, but it has drastically gone downhill since the republicans took complete control over the state government, primarily through gerrymandering. The republican party used to make a ton of sense, but they have gone completely off the rails and into conspiracy lah lah land and are concentrating on stupid meaningless things while the place falls completely apart. If I didn’t live in a very liberal county and wasn’t already in late life, I would leave Florida. This discrimination is unconscionable. Many of these laws are just downright ignorant. Example: girls’ periods can begin before sixth grade. Teachers need to be able to help their students if necessary. If it’s unlawful to discuss the subject before sixth grade, that it’s ignorant. The public school system is being destroyed.

Don't girls have parents?! Periods were discussed in school long after I needed the info, because my parents knew enough to explain things at the right time! People today are negligent parents, expecting teachers to do parents' jobs. And not only about this subject, either.

I agree with @commonsense6967 , teachers have been taking the roles of parents for too long now and it's unfair and a disservice to the kids. The educational system is not responsible to teach your kids about these personal things. All kids will learn sexual education at the appropriate age in school, but the parents are the ones who need to teach their kids about their own personal stuff and to teach them their own morals and values, etc. So expecting teachers to do the parents jobs allows for parents to not actually be parents.
