As a fellow Floridian it is so easy to spot Florida videos: Dozens of clueless idiots setting up camp in the fast lane and NOBODY pays attention or yields to emergency vehicles. "Move to the right for sirens and lights" has morphed into "freeze in place and smash the brakes". And you certainly don't wanna hit another vehicle because you'll be betting against the odds the other driver doesn't have a valid license OR insurance. But we all know how to call personal injury attorneys - there's an ad every 9 seconds. Gawd I wish I was kidding.

one of the more stupidest things i see in these videos are the amount of motorists who jam on their brakes when a police car is approaching behind them at high speed. It isn't simply a matter of getting out of the way of emergency vehicles. Drivers have no business being in the passing lane UNLESS they are passing another vehicle. If the Highway Patrol were to actually enforce the law and conduct traffic stops (and issue citations) for lolly-gagging and Sunday driving in the passing lane, then this issue might begin to diminish.

They need to review the dash cam footage, and identify the plate numbers of the people who were driving with their heads in their ass, and did not yield to the officers lights and move out of the way, and issue them all a ticket for that !! It is truly sad that so many seem to drive in la la land oblivious to what is taking place around them, it would also be nice if Florida would pass a law that puts 1 year without parole, for every miles a driver travels trying to elude law enforcement, on top of the charge of eluding law enforcement, keeping those stupid enough to try to elude, locked up in a cage for a very long time where they belong !!!! The Indian River Sheriff is 10 times better than any LAPD or CHP. I call them the keystone cops. So many times the criminal gets away again and again by their inability to block the cars they pull over from driving away once more. Pit maneuvers are a rarity. They are limited to performing it at speeds no higher than 35 MPH. Are the police departments in Southern California so limited in do their job right because of the Mayor's there throwing down all the woke rules of engagement for them to follow? More innocent people are going to be killed or injured by how they perform by those rules. The poor performance of the police stopping the car chase criminals there will result in many lawsuits with the city of LA.
