I can't imagine living in a society where people are so on edge that the slightest noise which sounds like gunfire, attracts such a response. We have our own issues here in the U.K. and for sure, some of our bigger City's have similar problems, usually due to one part of society but I'll stick to the countryside, where the shots which are fired, are definitive.
