Awesome show, I'm originally from Maine, retired now and live in Florida year round, container gardening is the only way for me to grow, Roma tomatoes work for me as do hot peppers 🌶, okra does well for me, green onions are another favorite, new subscriber here ❤

Great FL gardening info! Got Everglades and Floridade tomato seeds from you and they are powerhouses! Pretty much take whatever is thrown at them and still perform well. Now waiting for a fruit rat resistant variety to be developed…they found my garden this past summer 😱. Thanks for sharing your wealth of knowledge!

Cool channel! I’m over in west Pasco and I’m working on a little neighborhood lot but trying to produce as much as possible.

I have some cucumbers growing now, Brooksville 9b, and despite the cooler, less humid temps, they have powdery mildew. If they dont make it, I'll replant in February.

I have never been able to grow cucumbers here in Florida.

Put them in August, in a place we’re they are part of they afternoon shade. If you get information from university of Florida hey tell you when to plant every crops according where you live or zone. I have a big garden in zone 9B , but there’s information for South, Central and North of Florida. I came from Morestown NJ.

Just look up where I live, and I do not have a frost date "Frost Rare."
