We loved that area. Sadly trail 14has been filled in but there are plenty of other areas like it still in the area.

That’s too bad. It was probably the most adventurous trail there…

That trail really matured until recently when they closed the trail and filled it..😭

I wish they would leave some areas for Jeeping and let it ride. But I understand that the roads are also used by service vehicles and need to be accessible.

Our pleasure! The Bellmore State Forest video is next. It was a easy ride with several narrow old bridges.

What trail is the jeep cave on. I grew up my entire life riding in these woods and have not ever been to this cave.
@FloridaJeepRides3 жыл бұрын
The caves are down in the Southwest section and there is parking on the hwy or just off to the East of the caves. I think its called the off road parking. Trail 15 gets you almost there. www.google.com/maps/place/Dames+Cave/@28.7105975,-82.4389655,15.88z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0xb17ccc68c24c5304!8m2!3d28.7092528!4d-82.4432019?hl=en

Do you have the latitude& longitude coordinates of the caves or ants candy. We are heading down there Jan 30th. Coming from north Florida and some from all over Florida.
@FloridaJeepRides4 жыл бұрын
The caves are down in the South west end. They should show on Google maps. Peace cave will need a head lamp. Dames Cave is pretty open. Its better in the morning when less people are there. I am working on a video of the caves from Jan 2nd currently.

What trail did you enter in on?
@FloridaJeepRides3 жыл бұрын
We come into Citrus from Haven Road. Run the north end and then make our way south to the cave area. You have to park and walk the rest of the way to any of the caves.

I have looked into them and a small investment can save you a big repair bill. You never know just how deep the water is. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Citrus always id such a fun place to trail ride. Miles of trails with areas to test your vehicle right in the road. I have heard of some other caves that we missed, next trip.

Brother are you guys running CB's or HAM radios?
@FloridaJeepRides5 жыл бұрын
We use CBs when on a club run but also use a BaoFeng handheld for non club runs. Or to talk to the tail gunner off the channel. amzn.to/2ZjiKPg we also have a couple of the cheaper BaoFengs and they work just as well.

FloridaJeepRides it’s the gray one. You see it first at minute 3:21. Then you see it parked waiting while everyone did the obstacle where all the Jeeps “ wave” with the wheeling come off the ground.

That is a Trail Hawk edition, He went around the ruts on Ant's on candy. But he also followed me for some of the Judd trail testing and with lockers and traction control he was doing really well. I took a pair of whites ones on Lone Rock at Judd and they made it through without any help. A good vehicle.

On behalf of every bow hunter in Central Florida. We hate you guys. Jeep clubs are absolutely destroying the Withlacoochee State Forest. I've been hunting this property since the early 90s as a child. And ever since this Jeep fad has kicked in this property is absolutely getting destroyed. We took the kids camping. Even in small game it's been a family tradition to pack the kids out for our annual squirrel hunt and now due to all the Jeep clubs there are literally hundreds of jeeps at any given time. I really hope the state steps in to protect our natural resources. I have nothing against you just the destruction you guys are causing

I posted a public service announcement on the web site regarding this issue. We have frequently told people to stay out during hunting season. www.1995wrangler.com/jeeplife/jeeping-public-service-announcement

We pay for this land as well as you. We have the right to use this land, just like you. You environment people need to stop telling us what we can and cannot do. Trail riding is much more fun than killing animals anyday.
