The CS looked nice. I guess the only downside is leaving early in the dark . Black Horse Farm and Canterbury Aire have floodlights. It’s amazing how much Le Shuttle has changed in 6 months. Thanks Trev. Yep we did Black Horse Farm last year and found it a bit noisy near that road. Might just try Canterbury next time. Yes Le Shuttle changes every time we’re there!! Someone commented that the big new building is due to the EU ETIAS scheme coming in for facial recognition \ fingerprinting etc. In the end we made it across earlier than planned. Will probably book an earlier train in the Autumn. Thanks again and safe travels you two.

Cheers Robin. We’ve had some dreadful weather on the way down. We made it to South of Avignon and it’s finally starting to improve. We kept tripping the EHU on a CCP in -4. So we sorted it eventually but not a lot of fun!!

Glad to see you off on another adventure. We do the same with our road trip check lists then sum it up with, "well if we forgot it, then we will make do without it!". I make wrong turns all the time. It just adds to the adventure! Camp sites are not too busy this time of year. Fun times at border crossings. So many rules and checkpoints too. Nice start to your adventure. Happy Sunday and you are on the road tonight and hopefully you have sorted out the cliffhanger that you left us with:) It seems like it was only yesterday when you last went on the shuttle, but they managed to make a lot of changes in between. So I wonder how it will be next time? You are in a good mood and excited, so it is fun to follow your adventures on the road. As for making coffee and toast in Florrie I think that is a better solution both in terms of finances and what you end up with when you have short breaks. After all that is the one big advantage of having a mobile home on the road. I also noticed that it was cold for you in England, so hopefully you have better and warmer weather today. Cheers Steve. It’s a piece of cake honestly. We arrived two and a half hours early this time and were placed on to a train an hour earlier than booked which was then delayed by half an hour. So a fair bit of hanging around but then you’re straight off the train on to the Autoroute. 👍👍

We've just left Canterbury up. We like it there as you can get the bus in for free. Isn't it exciting going on a journey. Hope toy remembered to pay your Dartford crossing! Enjoying following along 😊 You may be able to buy a roaming add-on from EE, £25 a month and lets you use your allowance in the EU. We do this and works well on our unlimited EE sim. May be worth checking.

Hi David. Good tip, yes I will check. They have some good deals but I have struggled to get the price I agreed actually charged! They forgot the £20 discount initially and now it’s been changed to £3 a month more than I agreed originally. We will get there in the end 😃. Hiya. My first time in Spain! Sue has visited many years ago We can’t wait - just on the border now. Yep I expect it must have been really hot in the peak season. But I bet September will be perfect. Cheers Bob. Very kind of you. For the van WiFi - We have 50GB on an EE sim from the UK and I’ve just bought an Orange sim -32 Euros for 150GB for the WiFi. Just have to get it to work now…. 😃 On our phones we’ve bought roaming passes from our Uk suppliers but can mostly use the van wifi. You can get sims from most towns - tabacs are the best for that we found. 👍👍👍

Hi, I'm with bt and EE. I have my phone , with only 4gb of data and a data sim with unlimited data. Because I have multi sims I pay £40 per month. This allows me to gift up to 100gb from my unlimited sim and, best of all unlimited data abroad from my data only sim. Hope this helps 👍
