Loran is struggling a little with her mice but I think it's because it's her first big project and she isn't seeing her progress as quickly as other smaller projects but she keeps plugging away with it

Oh wow that's really cool. We try to stitch most nights together, Loran prefers stitching at night on my bed watching flosstube with me but I also try and stitch in the daytime sometimes aswell.

Lauren, I'm so impressed. Beautiful stitching. And to think you pick your own colors and they're just beautiful. So many adults are afraid to pick their own colors whether it's cross stitch or quilting and have to just follow directions. I checked out Stitching by the Shore and now I have four more items added to my wish list. I'll never live long enough. 😂 Kayla I can see that your work is also beautiful. Your daughter has a wonderful example to follow and learn from.

Yeah that was fun and I just love that sweet young lady who’s stitching is so very pretty❤ I have 3 daughters all of whom I taught to quilt, sew and cross stitch. They all have young children now and do zero crafts! I don’t know for sure they’re mine now😂I have always my entire life been a huge crafter! It has been surprising that my husband wanted to give it a go but he is the type of person that always wants to try anything and especially things that people say is not what "most men do" lol he has actually taken to it really well

I have been stitching on and off since I was probably about 10 or 11, I spent alot if time when I was having my children away from stitching and then came back properly like alot of people at the start of the covid pandemic and Loran has only really been a couple of years. My husband has just started taking an interest aswell and so I may show his progress on projects in future Flosstubes

Hi....welcome to flosstube. I enjoyed your first video. Your daughter is amazing and I'm trying to get my 14 Yr old niece into cross stitch too. May I ask you about the Bothy threads Donkey kit. How do you manage to do large amounts of stitches together without losing your way or going wrong? I like the Robin bothy threads kit but I just keep going wrong arggh. Lots love

Hi thankyou. Regarding the bothy threads kit I tend to try and work in the 100 square block of the pattern if I can doing one of the colours as I go. Sometimes I will carry on abit further into the next block if it is an easy carry on. I hope that makes sense. Fingers crossed your niece gives it a go, it's a lovely hobby to do together x
