Welcome back to the cold & rain 🥶. It can’t last forever, summer will come. I’d love to see more of your knitting & crochet. I’ve considered knitting a sweater for our small dog - he gets cold after he’s been groomed.

So happy that you had a great time doing your outreach program and that you were able to incorporate a mini vacation in at the same time. Wonderful progress on your stitching especially since you were doing a knitting project as well. I hope Herbie loves his new sweater and hope to see a picture of him wearing it soon. I would enjoy a video of your other craft endeavors. I got my cast off but am having some issues with my carpal tunnel, probably from residual swelling and stiffness but it is getting better each day so am well on the mend. I hope you can share some photos of your trip at some point if you feel comfortable doing so. Have a great week and happy crafting.

Glad to see you are knitting a bit. I have been ignoring my knitting, but just last week thought maybe it was time to break out the needles and knit Remi a sweater. So we shall see. I love the little crochet animals you made for me and Grandma Jean and use them everyday as pin cushions in the sewing room and craft room. We even still use the coasters you and Lauren knitted for us when you were little girls!! Glad you had a great trip. I really love the lace piece you are working on - tempted to try one again, but not sure my old eyes are up for it although they are much better since the surgery.

Kids sweaters should go pretty fast! I would say go for it, and just use a larger weave fabric or a good magnifier/magnifying glasses. I see lots of people using magnifiers!

I love your non crossstitch projects. I also crochet and I'm learning to knit. Right now my knitting looks like I did it with my feet but it will get better. I love the simplicity of knitting. Its very calming. Also my daughter is a crocheter and we're exploring dyeing our own yarn to get the the colors that we really want. Spring and summer will be busy.

It takes a minute to get a consistent gauge, but pretty soon it will be second nature! Yarn dying sounds so fun! I have been thinking about dyeing my own fabric or floss but haven’t fallen down the rabbit hole quite yet.

I am finally able to catch up on Flosstube and, lo, such a lovely shout out - thank you! 😊 Your comments about knitting instead of cross stitching made me laugh too. I've learned that when I travel, the only craft project I don't want to work on is the one I planned on. 😆

I feel like not many flosstubers show their actual stitching setup or how they stitch, I remember you showed a k's creations z frame in a previous video and I was wondering where do you use it and if we could see how you do your projects? Two-handed or one, how you start and end thread, etc.
