Loved seeing all your wish list projects! I also love the butterfly wall idea...how fabulous. I have several LolaCrowCrossStitch patterns saved also including Haunted Library. You have enabled me to get a couple of mushroom patterns ...my Mom loved mushrooms! Thank you!

@@STEMxSTITCH Thanks! I actually just picked up a pattern that reminded me of you the other day. It was a Van Goh's Starry Night in a Jar pattern. I believe it was from ZephyrMood? Made me think of the little paintings you have!

Fun episode Nicole. I enjoy seeing other stitcher’s interests and being exposed to new designs and shopping sites. I’m looking forward to the ‘behind the scenes’ peek of KZbin monetizing.

I couldn’t recommend it more, and it’s such a good pattern to play with fun fabric colors!

I love the lace looking cross stitch. I have the pattern. Waiting to order the floche and floss. Trying to decide what fabric. I would like an avocado kind of colour. I like to see the fabric but sadly my town had no stitchery business. Many times photos alter the actual colour to what you get under natural light. Thanks for showing and sharing. Beautiful progress.

An avocado green would be gorgeous! I originally wanted to do mine on an emerald/forest green. It is quite hard to judge fabric colors online. I usually google image search the name of it to see a variety of pictures and that helps a bit, but nothing is the same as seeing it in person!

Garibaldi’s needleworks has an avocado green among others that is very pretty and highly mottled if that’s what you like!

I was surprised by how many patterns we share on our purchased and wish lists! I look forward to seeing your take on them. I'm in the weird state where I just finished a project and can't decide which one to start next, so many great choices!!!
@STEMxSTITCH Жыл бұрын
Really?! That's awesome! Are you a monogamous stitcher? I totally get not knowing what to start next, having WIPGO make those choices for me helps a lot (though I struggle to choose what to put on it instead lol)!

I've tried having a couple of projects going at once.But when I start the second one my brain goes "umm... What are you doing? You have a perfectly good project over there that isn't finished yet!" And then when I start a third one my brain goes "Hey now! There are 2 wips over there begging to be completed!" And if I try to start a fourth my brain just goes "NOOOOOOOO!!!!"

I need that OwlForest toadstools pattern now. They aren't for everyone but out of curiosity have you looked into fancy lady designers or like any of their designs? (Mirabilia/Nora Corbett and Bella Filipina specifically. There was also Lavender and Lace more popular in past decades.)
@STEMxSTITCH Жыл бұрын
Right! It's so stinking cute! I have seen so many other stitchers work on fancy lady patterns. They are gorgeous but just not my style; I would never want to hang one up in my house personally. I love displaying my work, so if it doesn't fit with my style, I wont stitch it!
@stitchyduck Жыл бұрын
@@STEMxSTITCH Valid, they wouldn't fit my house either but I stitch them because they're pretty, fun, and pretty fun and it's satisfying to see them progress. I'm thinking about giving them to friends and relatives or even just keeping them rolled up to look at and touch when I feel like it. Definitely won't fit just anyone's house not to mention a lot of them are gigantic and cost a lot to kit. I love the lacework-esque pattern on the yellow fabric you're doing by the way, so delicate.
@STEMxSTITCH Жыл бұрын
Totally make sense! I know many people stitch for the experience rather than to display the finished project. And thank you!

This was so much fun to watch! I really love how you think of how to display your pieces on the wall and pick patterns that complement each other. Owlforest embroidery is great. I’m stitching the Alice in wonderland SAL, and have the 100 owls printed out, ready to be stitches at some point. Have you heard of Stephanie Seabrook, from Pegasus publication? She did a whole bunch of dog patterns back in the day, and I just finished an Italian Greyhound piece by her. Check her out if you are interested in more Greyhound charts. Happy stitching!
