Emily, I don’t mind ads; I actually kinda like them. I like to stitch while watching and the ads give me a few moments where I can just pay attention to my stitches. I have a soft spot for Mary Poppins so that is my favorite minder. I found some minders I need to get for gifts!

I went to the grocery store and I always buy Mashed potatoes by Bob Evans. I love them. The price was ridiculous. I told my husband I'm going to have to learn how to make mashed potatoes 😂 because I gotta have my potatoes. My favorite needle minder is Mr and Mrs Claus. How adorable!! To keep from excess spending, I usually keep a "wish" list of pattern names and when I have to place an order/shop for a needed item, I'll pick one item off the wish list to add. As time passes, I tend to cross things off the wish list that I just lose interest in doing. My favorite minders (that I haven't bought, lol) is the one with a little blue owl with a heart that says I'm not old, I'm Vintage.

Your haunted house colors are amazing! I know your pain. I didn’t come down with Covid until Mother’s Day. I was in seclusion in the living room unless I was working in my little corner in the den remotely. I kept from going nuts by attending a Facebook stitching event with the Yorkshire stitchers. I really like the RBG needle minder. Much more progress is needed in male dominated careers such as engineering. I have seen a lot of improvements over my 40+ years but still more needs to be done.

I’m glad you’re feeling better, I had it twice. Once was after I received the vaccination. It’s true, do what your body tells you that you need. I couldn’t pick just one favorite minder! One is “Coffee helps me mimic socially acceptable behavior” and the other is “if perfection doesn’t exist how do you explain coffee.” Yes I’m a coffee fanatic! Happy stitching!

Thank you for posting about this seller since I see a lot of shops I used to buy from are no longer selling. I had stopped stitching because I couldn't see the stitches. About two weeks ago I purchased a new magnifying lamp. 10x magnifying and I can see it!! I purchased 4 new needle minders but some of my favorites are the Nancy Drew books and the Tudor England minders. Any suggestions on what are the best stitching shops to buy from? I'm starting with some small kits but hope to get back to stitching some of the HAED's I have in stash. Thank you again.

More gorgeous samplers! The Seasonal Quaker is probably my favourite. Re the mid-roll adverts, they are playing every 9 minutes, some you can't skip so have to watch two ads. They also don't compress the sound so I suddenly had a woman screaming in my ear about collagen! Such a contrast to your lovely soft voice in my headphones. Having one mid-video would be OK but 5 or 6 in a relatively short video is a bit OTT. But if you need the money, you need the money. Not sure if you get paid sick leave either so I do hope you feel better soon. ps also not a silk fan here, happy with good old DMC

Believe it or not...I actually reduced the number of ads. KZbin automatically set them for every 2-3 minutes. THAT was a bit over the top. Lol

Oh...I forgot to add on my other post....you should monetize your channel any way you can! You work hard on it and deserve it! You should even offer the patreon thing. I followed a flosstuber for three years on her patreon ,and she was supposed to have extra videos for her patrons every week. Weii, she stopped that after a couple of months because she didn't have time to do all that extra work....and I continued to keep following her for three years. I'm definitely a loyal person. The only reason I quit following her is because she started telling us about how she joined a girls patron because the girl offered a crap ton of incentives to join her patreon. Just know. I would be super loyal to someone that actually did us right! Love your channel so much! Take care, friend!

So glad to hear you're recovering from the plague! Also, don't worry what people might think about you adding more ads. Few people have any idea what it takes to be a KZbin contributor, much less actually editing your videos. It's not fair to ask someone with ADD to pick a favorite out of over 1500 needle minders, but I really like I Could Rule the World, and, and...! Now I have a question . . . living where you do (I live in Mississippi) and like me being non-religious and liberal, how do you deal with all the idiocy around you?

Hahahahahaha...there is a lot of eye rolling and tongue biting. I'm pretty open with my thoughts and beliefs, but also try to be very respectful of others. I'm stirred the pot here and there when I've felt strongly about something though.
