Oh my gosh Emily, the stitch you did for your husband is beee-utiful! You should get a needle minder made of it! Try a cup of “sleepy time” hot tea when you can’t sleep, it works. Any brand, Twinnings, Bigalow, etc.

We have a Central Kentucky Stitchers group started to meet local stitchers. The group meets at the library from 10 to 3pm and chat and stitch and share destash. Its growing and is so nice to be with other stitchers.

I think a lot of us, (me included,) are wary of using Weeks Murkey linen but you have shown how it can be used. I'm always afraid the thread colors will just get lost, and I was studying your Seven Sheep sampler pretty close. It's just wonderful.

Insomniac🙋🏻‍♀️😁😆I have a song by Harry Styles that runs through my mind while trying to sleep. I think I'm only getting about 3 or 4 hours of sleep. I am now trying 5 gm melatonin with herbs but it was unsuccessful last night. Seven Sheep Sampler, I had to pick my jaw off the floor long enough to buy the chart and Murky linen! Genius to stitch it on Murky! I've had pieces speak to me before but Seven Sheep Sampler yelled at me. So yeah! Loved your little talk about the Ouija boards but they scare me. Woke up at 4am! I went to bed at 4:30am, woke again at 6. I take Stilnox but doesn't always send me to sleep. At least I get fewer interruptions in the early hours of the morning 😅 Yep you can kill Pothos! Done a couple. I repotted all my aroids about a month ago now have a massive issue with fungus gnats. Never had a problem before, think they came in on the potting mix, not irradiated properly. Anyway I've lost some expensive Alocasia so not happy.

For fungus gnats try making "mosquito bit tea" to water them with. Works for me and they are gone after a couple of waterings. Buy mosquito bits at any Home Depot, etc., and steep in hot water. Once water cooled you can water with it.

What is it about 4am?! That's my anxiety golden hour too! If we were in the same time zone, I'd say we should have regular 4am meetups where we compete on who can come up with the craziest, most catastrophic worry. It's where I choose to channel all of my creativity, apparently. 😆 I think that Stacy Nash design with the big ass house was an exclusive (maybe Country Sampler?) that was released in parts. Now you're really making me want to buy and stitch it, and I'm not mad about it. I've said it before and I'll say it again, that Jimmy Flosstube is a lucky man!! What an absolutely beautiful piece. As always, all of the choices and changes you made are just genius. The perfect tribute to an amazing couple. What is the name of the plant you mentioned that's hard to kill? I've been meaning to ask you for a recommendation. Glenn and I want to get a house plant, but that f**ker is going to have to be tough! lol!

Being an exclusive makes sense. Love it. And get a pothos. There are lots of different varieties, golden and marble queen and neon being some of the most common and hardy. Should be able to find almost anywhere.

Your most recent finish is gorgeous! I looked up Cartersville. You aren’t too far away, about 2 hours or so. I am in Auburn (Alabama). I have to ask the obvious question…are there any needlework shops near you that you are aware of? Alabama is a desert. Sometimes I like to actually see stuff before I buy it.
