From the market releases this year I only spotted a couple that need adding to my stash, and one of them was that Pinetree Chalet you showed - it looks like it will be a fun little stitch! And I'm with you on the Wichelt fabric - I just finished Unexpected Visitors by Night Spirit Studios on a piece of their linen and it was so stiff, but it did also kinda stay put in the qsnap. Trying to get the qsnap creases out though was really difficult - I think I may have to fully soak the linen to get them completely out. Congrats on reaching 10k too!

I have two aging cats and one aging dog who has a tumor on her toe, not diagnosed yet, so I know what you are going through with Buster. I even had a Buster once, he showed up on our doorstep and lived a really good life with us. Keeping Buster in my thoughts. Poor sweet kitty! Also loved the Mirabilia rabbit hole. I also want to start one this year. I might have been on eBay looking at some while you were talking. Not like I don’t have at least a dozen to choose from already. It is important to periodically step out of your stitching niche - it increases your fun factor greatly. I like to have some projects with beads and sparkling fibres, and some with specialty stitches. Then I always have something to suit my mood.

Funny you should mention tattoos! I turned 60 on the 29th of January. To thumb my nose at my 6 decades, I got a tattoo! It was my daughter's bday gift to me and she paid it. It's a needle and thread and it's 4" long, on the inside of my forearm. My daughter and her friend said I won't be able to stop at 1 tattoo! I will lol. Me and my 2 cats Mama and Momo send our hopes to Buster, Dharma, you and Jim, that the cancer does not return. May you all have a very long time with Buster🥰

Oh Buster boy, you got this! Looking very dapper for 16!! Sending all the good vibes I can for him. Piercings are like tattoos (well I don't have any tattoos but family members do) but I have the piercing part covered. My daughter and I will go get pierced together lol. The tragus about did me in, I will be 90 and rock that piercing. I did have a small nose ring (and they did warn me) but with all my sinus issues I recently lost it. I love the Blackbird piece, she is gorgeous!! I haven't finished a sampler so think I will go for the cat separate pattern because I do love that cat by Little Robin Designs. Artsy housewife knocked it out of the park! The bear is on my must have list. I didn't know about Ann Kirby so will find that one too. Thank you for sharing your time, talents and Buster with us. I like two over two, I like cotton and not silk and I like weird samplers, as you do! I knew that you were going to mention the Little Robin's cats and gryphon sampler! I just don't get the Mirabilias and I am always asking myself why! I mean that I like the finished object and the effect of the colors/beads, but many of that elegant ladies are floating in the air and they don't speake to me, even if I can imagine that is lovely to stitch them. Maybe I should try one... I use to watch Stitching Fae flosstube and she's a big Miras stitcher, but she stitch also samplers and all the things. I had to let my baby girl (14 year old beagle) go right after Christmas. I did everything I could to keep her around as long as possible without torturing her. I get it. They are our babies. He may be 16 but he looks like he still has a lot of life left in him. I hope the cancer stays away. Congrats on 10k! 🎉🎉🎉

The thyroid removal surgery is an option rather than forever pills. My vet discussed it with us as a long term cost effective option since the pills are so expensive over time.

I don't railroad. I do take time a couple of times during a length of thread to run my needle down to the fabric, untwist the two threads, then take my needle back to the end. Does that make sense? And yes, just email me at [e-mail] and I will share.
