My grandmother had the Franciscan Apple pattern as her everyday dishes. My mom had the Dogwood pattern. Great video! Always enjoy your flosstube! Happy stitching!

Super psyched for this retreat. It'll be my first and I know it won't be my last. My stepmother had a huge salt and pepper shaker collection that I would dust every sunday when I was a kid

Hi and thanks for the shout out for our Etsy shop, PetesBeeSkeps 😊. We appreciate it so much!! Also, wanted to let you know that I’ve used mostly 36 count linen for stitching the Tiny Towns but 32 also works. It just may be a bit snug. Happy Stitching! Kathy

Love the sentiment of the LDS sampler Debbie. You’re never going to be Jell-o Keph 😂😂😂

I just bought the HOD Enjoy the Stitch chart earlier this month at Stitch Away in Ohio. Your finish is soooo cute!! Going to a retreat with HOD is still on my bucket list. I’d love to make it into your retreat. 🤞🏼🤞🏼

I'm slightly younger than you and when I was a Merrie Miss, we had had a banner that we would stitch. It said, "I will radiate the light of the gospel." And had a picture of a fire in a hearth. I remember that so well! Good memories. So sad about Craft Center of Fine Stitchery! But a nice retirement income for them. Hope I can attend Stitch West again. I enjoyed it so much last year. With the prices going higher I know some of my friends won't be able to attend though. So sad!

You also can clip the wonky stick outie loops to the length of the other loops and you can never tell. Like giving the punch needle a little trim on longer loops. If that makes sense. Game changer for newbies.

Debby, I take found items such as lone teacups and saucers, creamer/sugar bowls without lids, even gravy boats and certain vases, and make them into pin cushions!! I thought of that as I heard you talking about your Franciscan Apple treasures and already having the creamer or sugar bowl from the set…. As usual it is SO MUCH fun to listen to you two ladies and see what you are working on!! So excited to see you both again in April, and hopefully October!!!

The Apple dishes are beautiful. Could the box be for butter also? The Valentine display is so cute. Retreat news is exciting. I like seeing previous stitches also.

I looked on Replacements Ltd. That is a cigarette box!! There is also a clear glass box. Crazy! FYI, it was $50!

I use the valdani thread that comes in a ball. You don’t have to thread as often at all.

I wonder if the box is for butter. The suggestion that it's for salt is a good one. If you find out let us know.

The Franciscan Apple dishes that you showed reminded me of a similar pattern of dishes that my mother-in-law's mother had. The box that you showed that I couldn't view very well looked like a salt seller. When I was a kid (I am now 71) course salt was used for cooking and there was always a box of salt near the stove. The box was made of china, porcelain, or ceramic.

HI ladies - love your videos! Yes I kinda want to try the punch needle thing - I am getting over the cross stitching - need a break for a while - maybe I would have 2 or 3 ultra punch needles and already threaded with the different colors - just like folks do when they are cross stitching! I see a few neat patterns too - I do not want to trace then on to the cloth yet, would like the patterns already printed on - I do see many where you have to trace them on - there are alot of cute patterns though like the Santa Clause and snowmen - I would like to try a chicken, rooster or sheep pattern if they wouldn't be too hard to start with! The cost of some of those - especially for a kit - yikes! But what isn't pricey these days :-) Where did you buy your punch needle projects - were they all from Sherpherd's Needle? I do see some on Etsy and Amazon too - Your project looks great - let us see the others when you finish! thanks for sharing! Take care - have a great week :-)

Maybe the little box-like dinnerware piece is a sugar/tea packet holder...? Interesting. This month has flown by! It's sad that Craft Center is closing. That doesn't leave many cross stitch shops around here in UT. Shepherd's Bush, Pine Needles. Are there any others? Have a fun, safe trip.
