I adore your stitching and made note that I need to order Prim Village and Berry Bowl Sampler for myself. They look too fun. I especially enjoyed seeing your quilts. My father's mother was a huge quilter in rural Arkansas. I always loved seeing the designs come to life and the care that she took to make sure each quilt was perfect. She had a large family and made full size quilts for all of her grandchildren before she left this world. (I think there are around 30 of us in all!) I still love snuggling under a family heirloom when I'm having a bad day or just need a reminder of family bonds. Thanks for sharing!

I love everything about your videos. I too am a quilter, stitcher and knitter. Talk about the squirrel that is my life. I won't live long enough to do everything. I wish I had a daughter to pass my stitching love onto. I had three sons who appreciate my work but not the same.i remember sitting with my grandmother and mother during summer vacations and doing needlework from the time I was little. You are doing a great job as a teaching mom with letting her pick her own work out.

I am a right handed stitcher, but I stitch the top cross from lower left to upper right, unlike most stitchers. I also stitch "backward" from right to left, usually starting in the upper right corner. Love seeing your cross stitch projects and your quilts. Your daughter's stitching is great! Thanks, Kristy.

I stitch that way, too! 😊 Opposite from everyone else: Bottom right to upper left and then crossing, bottom left to upper right! I’ve been stitching like that since the 70s and learned from a diagram from a cross stitch chart-no internet way back then. I don’t think it makes a hill of beans just so long as all the x’s cross in the same direction! Lucky you to have your daughter following in your footsteps. 😊

Thanks for another awesome video. Loved seeing your dog Gus and your daughter Hayley . I have my threads for consider the lilies on order and getting impatient to start after seeing your progress. Love all your starts and WIPS. I have been stitching just one thing at a time so I get something accomplished but am starting to get bored . I think I need to start all the things 😀. Getting a lot of stitching done these days ! I also quilt and do longarm quilting . Loved your quilts !! I made a log cabin for my daughters bed also out of Zen Chic fabrics .I am currently working on Primitive Gatherings bow tie quilt. Bow ties finish at 2 inches 😩. Have made 300 and still need another 1200! But what a great time to work on this piece when all we have is time ! Was wondering if I could get on your list for a project bag . I think I may have asked on Instagram but not sure . Keep the videos and inspiration coming !! Happy Easter to you and your family .

I don't know why but your ending with your daughter got me teary eyed. I started embroidery when I was 10 years old. My mother's best friend taught me. It is so nice to see mother daughter sewing together. Love your video's.

I loved your video and seeing your lovely daughter! Such talent the two of you have! I don’t quilt but I buy from FQS. I bought some French General charm packs recently and cut them into 2 1/2 inch squares. I’m going to try a project bag modeled after yours. I’m not a great sewer but can master vinyl bags with online tutorials. I have made the HOD/sewmuchtolove bag twice (I’m NevadaStitcher on IG). I’ll tag and credit you if I make one. I love Brenda Gervais and Jeanette Douglas. I’ve been trying to wrap up some WIPs but feel that urge to start everything! I don’t enjoy the kitting process so thought that if I did get sick I could stitch and not have to round up the supplies. 🤷‍♀️😊 Happy Easter!
