Sarah and Stan, My husband does not watch with me but he heard the pain in your voice and knew you had lost Chester. Our hearts go out to you, as we went through that when our beloved Pepper was diagnosed with gastric torsion. We had thirty minutes to say goodbye-he was in such pain and nothing to be done. Your tears were mine as well. We all love our pets -they bring comfort, joy, and laughter to our lives, especially now (we are retired). Blessings and hugs-memories will bring comfort. Vince is a doll-so lucky to have a grandpa who sings!!

Sarah, I am so sorry for the loss of Chester. Our fur babies hold such a special place in our hearts. In May this year I also said goodbye to my lovable cat Slinky after he was diagnosed with skin cancer. With treatment and love we got to spend almost an extra year with him but when the time came it came fast and he did not have to suffer. In your time of grief I am thinking of you and Stan and wishing you all the best. Our grief never truly goes away, we just learn how to live with it.
