Ive been watching your videos for a while and I’m always amazed at how you finish projects so quickly. I’ve yet to finish one but proud to admit I have at least 25 wips 😂. In cross stitch, i find getting influenced is part of the fun, so keep bringing it on 😂. But seriously, if you ever find the time, I and I’m sure other viewers would love to see your stitching set up and share how you get projects done so fast. Thank you for your inspiration and amazing videos…❤

Heidi! Those old ornaments are beautiful! You should display them! They’re not out of style. Of course everyone’s tastes evolve. But those are still in style and very lovely. At least I think they are. It’s Easter and spring now. You might consider decorating with them. The “waiting for Santa” is great for a door knocker. On your daughter’s door or anywhere. I appreciate all the work and talent that went into those ornaments. Of course I think I say it every video. You’re the fastest stitcher! Your finishes are great and the little fob you made is genius! Also, it’s amazing that your daughter sews. Sounds like maybe you taught her? What a gift. Thx for the video.

that was a nice treat, to add on the old finishes at the end. You did really good considering how quickly all fashion changes including crafting. And a lot of those bows aren't outdated but they do cover up some of the stitching. That reminds me of changing hairstyles, remember when we all had to have the fringe pieces drape in front of our face? Haha. I remember spending 20 minutes getting a perfectly smooth ponytail only to dig out those few strands of hairs around the face. Great content as always!

Fun to see your old finishes. Laughed out loud when you said if you put out all your finishes you’d have to decorate the ceiling. Have fun stitching blackbird designs. I have tried so hard to like their designs but find myself craving brighter colors whenever I stitch them. Now I am stitching bright colors and enjoying the Dmc rainbow.

Thank you! So true! Blackbird designs have muted colors I tend to sub them with DMC or just sub them with bright colors and it works for me 😊

Wow! As usual your stitching is fantastic! Thank you for sharing everything- your WIPS, haul and crate of previous smalls. I know some look dated with bows, but I would keep it as I feel it is authentic to the time you stitched them and you may be correct- all things come back around. I love your dedication to the craft and explanations of stitch count and beads and I admire your tenacity and humbleness as you occasionally stumble on a word. You are so modest about the extent of your crafting.❤❤

WOW!!! The Easter Egg pattern does not look that big until you hold your WIP up next to it! Your eggs looked large, stitched, I am wondering how large the big eggs will be? WOW, again!!! Well, it just shows we have to really read the patterns and check the sizes before we pull fabric and start to stitch - and I KNOW you DID!!! Your stitching is extremely beautiful!!! We can see the texture on video here, it's proof that pattern photos NEVER do the real pattern any justice!!! I can't wait to see more of this one as you stitch it!!!! Thank you for sharing!!! I really enjoy your videos, you are an avid and dedicated stitcher! I admire that about you! I really, really do!

Heidi, those ornaments you found are precious. I would put all the Easter ones in an Easter Basket for some Easter Decor. And you are right, back in the day we did not have much to choose from in the way of fabric. I started out on Aida and moved to Evenweave as I do not like the slubs in linen. I did a lot of Prairie Schooler, Bent Creek, Heart in Hand and Lizzie Kate as well. Our tastes do change and cross stitch designs have changed so much. I used to say I would never be a sampler stitcher but what am I working on now? Samplers...and a lot of Brenda Gervais. Happy Easter and Happy Stitching.

I think most stitchers started back then with Aida and over time we switched to hand dyed fabrics and linens 😊

I absolutely do not think you need to do anything to change your older pieces Heidi. I think perhaps you could remove the bow in some cases or shorten the two long pieces and just make it be a bow sitting on top. You’re finishing looks just like the ones that Vonna is doing for people right now. With the cording around the flat piece. I think they look wonderful and don’t need to be changed at all. ❤️💕🌷🌸
