Thank you for the visit. So many times you made me smile. It is amazing looking through what you already have. It’s wonderful when you still love what you have already. I’ve got oodles of projects to finish. I hope we both have success in making what we have. You are an inspiration. Thanks for the word abide. You made me think of the hymn “Abide With Me” by Audrey Assad. Plus this morning the radio was playing “Like a River Glorious” and that too reminded me to abide in Him.

Thank you for the lovely visit. I really like your style, your work and your practical approach to working with what you have. Our household has also had a hard year ending and a rough start to the new year. One of my favorite hymns is "I Can't Keep from Singing." It's been my thought mantra over the past months. I do like your word choice of Abide. Have a great February!

Don’t beat yourself up about the amount of stuff you have. You light up as you talk about your projects and whips. They bring you joy and that is obvious. Life is short Bonnie. Some of us are not made to have a minimalist life. Our homes are warmer for it and look at the joy creating brings.

Love your videos!! I have that problem of over buying I have been trying not buy more but I keep seeing all the new fabric and cross stitch patterns. I am hoping to retire in the next 2 years so as of now I have plenty to keep me busy for many years to come. I love your message about Jesus and how with these troubles in the world me definitely need to ABIDE in Jesus.

This was my first time watching and I enjoyed every minute! Loved the encouragement to use what we have because wanting to buy all the things can be a real problem! Every craft is purchased with good intentions isn’t it!? Ending with scripture was such a delight! I don’t know what I would do without Jesus! I’ll watch the current videos and then go to the beginning and binge watch all of your videos! It’s been a pleasure to meet you!

I am new to cross stitch and enjoy watching Flosstubes while I stitch. I'm starting to see videos of all the patterns people have and it sort of feels overwhelming. I only have 2 going and will start a Christmas one soon. That's enough. It takes a long time to stitch. What I really love about this video is how you are repeating about being content with the patterns you have and stitch what you have. The whole time I'm listening to you I'm happy to hear "content" because I just have to be happy stitching on my current 2 patterns and not feel the need to have a bunch of new starts. I'm reminded so much that God wants me to be content with what I have in all things. Then at the end you read scripture, focusing on the word "abide". I appreciate that too because I have "abide" verses highlighted in my Bible. Thanks for sharing your beautiful projects, a bit of your life and keeping me grounded in God's Word. I look forward to watching your videos.

Hey Stitching Buddy! Crazy thing…I actually recorded this probably 2 weeks ago and just got so wrapped up in my decluttering and helping with my Dad that I never got the thumbnail made to post it. (You know those wonky options you get with weird faces from the video). So surprise! Here I am!

Hi Bonnie! Wrote down a lot of patterns for ‘2023”. Thanks so much. Here’s something you might try-this is what I’m doing this year. I’ve gotten all my cross stitch and quilting monthly project bagged and all most all are kitted (floss, fabric, pattern) so even though I’ll be stitching and quilting what I already have- as a treat and to get a jump start on collecting potential projects for my 2023 “Just 4 Me” challenge (I call it that because I decided that all scheduled projects for 2022 will be made “Just for me or my hubby” because I trend to make things for gifts for my kids, grandkids, birthdays, etc..) anyway, for every pattern I complete-big or small- I reward myself with purchasing a new pattern to replace it and I put it in tote I have labeled “2023 “Just Stitch”challenge. So, it’s like a mental reward and I’m stitching and finishing what I already have but it’s exciting to know that when you finish a WIP or a pattern you’ve had for years, it’s such fun and a sense of accomplishment to not only finish a project but there’s a reward to look forward to. NOT that I need anymore patterns for the rest of my life🤣. Also, are you doing any SAL’s or online group stitching? I’d love to join one….I’ve never done one before but what fun and I’m sure a person would get alot done since there’s a competition with other stitching buddies! Let me know.

And yes I too have bought several stitch patterns as soon as I've seen them on floss tube but determined not to get any more till I stitch what I have. There are so many beautiful and tempting charts. I also love your stitched finishes. Just so pretty. Thanks for the reminder to use what we have!!!

I am a monogamous stitcher, a strange breed I know, but I have 3 more patterns that I am unable to get supplies for. Either thread or linen is so delayed that it is discouraging. In the meantime I am making project bags for no reason except to use up fabric.
