Tara, I was so sorry to hear about the tragic death of Your friend Jen. The loss of even on good friend is always so hard. I really enjoyed Your flosstube today. You are very talented stitcher. I am very much a basic stitch and You are really talented. I am not a Halloween stitcher - just not my thing - my beloved daughter Audra was born on Halloween, I was born earlier in the same month, her oldest son was born in October as well. Then there are several nieces, nephews and a son-in-law to add to the month. Altogether there are 13 special days in October for me to remember(yeah and that is why they are all on a callendar!!!).❤❤ I would like to suggest that You might enjoy Nichol Spor or Chantelle - 141 Design Company. Both are very talented stitchers and multi-crafters. Nichol is also a knitter, bag maker and card maker. Chantelle is a cross-stitcher, punch needle student and she also owns 141 Design Company where she creates and manufactures finishing boards for Cross Stitch. Both ladies are full of talent and a boatload of fun to watch. Do You watch Teresa Kogut? She is another of my favorite designers and flosstube makers. Take care, be safe and as always GOD BLESS. All cancers are horrible but, pancreatic cancer is in a league of its own. Our sister-in-law passed from it on Dec 10th; 2 weeks before that, my sister told me she was just diagnosed with it and passed away a little more than 3 months later on March 2nd. There isn’t a day that goes by where we don’t grieve and miss my sister - it’s left an aching hole in our hearts. The piece the 3 of you stitched is such a sweet memory and wonderful commemoration of your friendship. I did HATS Mrs Campbell Oban in memory of my sister as it’s dated Jan 3rd - her birthday. Anyway, on to stitch talk…I am ALWAYS amazed at the speed of your needle! Your finishes are beautiful and your WIPS as well! In love with Little Birds❤️ That Halloween quilt is gorgeous! Thank you for your flosstubes - look forward to them!

Yes it is Nicole needlework. So sorry, you are right I tried to update a lot but did not update the vendors I bought bags for just my gifted ones. Will try and get it updated when I can.

So I will show it in my next video. My craft room tour you see a little. My DMC I have the DMC wooden box but when using them but them in 3 x 4 bags. Same with the fancy floss and silk. Not sure it is perfect but works for me

Thank you so much. So I use 3X4 jewelry bags and right now I get them from my local LNS (they have a top hole punch). She doesn't have anymore so I will have to try to find them on line somewhere in the future.

hi, tara, don't worry if you don't have time to answer this-- you maybe could even just mention it next time you podcast. so, being a rookie, and new to get back into cross stitch, i'm wondering how you stitch. in hand, hoop/qsnap, two handed, etc. you get so many beautiful pieces done; i wanna be like you 😁

So I don't know if I have a secret ha. But pretty much if I have free time I am stitching. So I stitching in hand but stab and poke method. I wish I could give some extra tips but things seem to take me a long time to. I guess the only one I have is just keep working on it. I have stitched a long time so maybe I am quicker because of practice? Also I stitch really one to two projects at a time so it is like I get more done.
