Even though I free that Samsung and android phones alike can and some are better than the iPhone, I still like the iPhone. I've been using my apple account for a little over 6 years and I don't think I want to switch phones. If I didn't have a choice I wouldn't be mad but I just like the way Apple systems run. I like the ui.

Pocket PC and Palm phones had stylus' built in like 14-15 years ago. Does that mean they're better than any current phone that does't have an additional writing tool? Not to mention anyone can purchase and use a stylus with their smartphone. The difference, is that the Note allows you storage on the phone body for the stylus and integrated software for the s-pen. Not hating on the Note 4, I actually have one and it's the best smartphone currently on the market, in my opinion.

Anonymouslives it's not just a stylus, it's soooo much more than that. The stylus on the old plams weren't pressure sensitive and couldn't do anything expect write on a screen. The S pen functions as a cut and paste too, it transcribes script and print to text, and so many other things that you can't possibly compare it to a palm treo or old school stylus.

People that never used a note says: why would the note need a stylus? And the note and the s-pen works hand and hand. Now I'm sure with another phone with a quad HD display (nexus 6, iPhone 6+, LG G3)wouldn't need an s-pen and neither does the note series. But that's the name and brand of the phone that's under Samsung. And the s-pen adds way more features that a normal phablet wouldn't have.

Loved the video Floss. There is one thing you mentioned that stuck with me during the comparison. It's when you called the iPhone "boring". That one word summed up my experience I had with the iPhone 6 before getting the Note 4. I never find myself bored with the Note and I'm on my third one. Flossy Carter you should compare the Note 4 to the M8 and Moto X to fully display how innovative and forward thinking Samsung is compared to those basic almost stock android phones. Everyone says that iPhones haven't changed much since the beginning, yet companies like HTC and Motorola basically ride the coattails of Google's progress without adding much individuality to their phones beyond hardware.

Hakim Leveille you are absolutely right. I have been wondering why more people aren't talking about them biting the style of the iPhone 6 straight from HTC One. I have started carrying my HTC One M7 without the case on purpose and a lot of people immediately think that it is an iPhone 6. I knew they would, which is why I started carrying it without a case. I had the Note 2 and sold it and I have regretted it every day since. I think the Note 4 will be my next device. I released 2 custom ROMs for the Note 2 on XDA (aka JohnCorleone) and I always got 8 hours of screen time but my ROMs always had all inverted apps included and I debloated the carrier apps (had an add on flashable extra for those who wanted them) I am pretty sure that those who root and use Team Blackout inverted apps can pull 10 hours of screen time on the regular. Inverted apps on SAMOLED screens yield 40% more screen on time. Also the phone just looks sexier but that last part is just my opinion. I just thought I would mention some pro tips for those who root. Keep it up with the great reviews Floss! You always give honest reviews and its even better that you are buying the devices so your opinions are real, not swayed by a sponsor

I've always heard people having trouble with battery on their iPhone. My Galaxy Note 2 lasts a whole day with heavy use (sometimes 1 and a half or 2 days with normal use) but the iPhone 5 lasts for a few hours with normal use.

When it comes to highest selling phone, I'll put it in this order: 1. iPhone 6/iPhone 6+ 2. Samsung Galaxy S5 3. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Now even tho the Note series is a better phone than the "S" Series, on a day to day basis, I see ppl with the Galaxy S models than I do with the Galaxy Note models. I dont know why, it might be because of price I guess. U still getting a good high end phone for a good price I guess out of the Note series and the iPhone. Me personally I'm an Apple guy. I facetime a lot, and do a lot of things on iTunes. But on some real shit, it depends on what u most comfortable wit.

Yeah! Definitely agree! People don't really understand! When you have a note 3 or 4 is like literally having a computer in your pocket! It so versatile that in my opinion especially with the S pen that you really can't compare. Yeah! The Note 4 is the best phone for 2014. There is no denying to that fact. Which one you chose is simply your preference. But I agree with him, the Note 4 is the best. I give credit to Samsung for that. Except some other company comes with a Smartphone with S pen and with features and specs better than that of Note 4, not forgetting Amoled display, I cannot divorce the Note 4.

I've love my Note 4. I wouldn't trade it in for any other phone out there. I've spoke to sales people at my local Verizon and Sprint stores as well as the sales people at two different Sam's Clubs before I made my purchase. Virtually every sales person told me that the Note 4 was the best phone on the market. I know my boss hates her iPhone 6, and she came from a Galaxy S3

He a 💯% right about the Spen and how people don't know how to use it, it's a guy at my job that was scrambling around for paper towel & a pen to 📝 down a number when he had a note 3 in his hand and he was talking on bluetooth! I don't even have a note 3 or 4 and I showed him how to pull the pen out and showed him some of the functions that it can do, he was shocked and I asked his dumb ass, why do you think its called the note? Galaxy Note 4. My favorite phone ever. It was superior to anything in it's day and still retains so many positive details, even over modern phones! I loved my different extended batteries and cases, Zerolemon, etc. IR blaster, flat screen, all of that. That phone was tight, dog. Love watching your old, retro vids, Floss. My favorite is "Zombie Killer Knife Collection"! Nothing to do with techno stuff, but my favorite, nonetheless, lol!

Great review! One of the best (if not the best) I've seen thus far. A couple things tho: 1) You mentioned the iphone 6 plus buttons have a "click" sound when pressed, deeming them higher quality. Well, my Note 4 has the same clicking sound as they are made from aluminum as well. 2) You mentioned the "sharp edges" on the Note get annoying after some time. I beg to differ. The phone feels comfortable and very high quality in my hand even after several hours of usage. Of course, this is only my opinion based off my personal experience with the device. Everything else is spot on!

Floss so note 4 or nexus 6? The nexus 6 only advantages are the TouchWiz, the water resistant feature, and that's pretty much it. The note 4 has better camera, better features, the s pen, and some other few things. Both phones have fast charging and both phones get 100 in 1 hour.

Very good video! I gotta ask though....why are there people in the comments talking about jailbreaking iphone 6 when it voids your warranty. The fact of the matter is that it isn't worth it since the phone just came out. What if you need to replace something. You gonna give up your warranty for that? ....bottom line. The note 4 is the better phone out of the box warranty intact. And that pretty much speaks volumes. Also just a note here. Did you know you can make a lower note like the note 2 take the software for a note 4. Can't do that on iPhone for the hackers out there. It is called DN4 rom. Google it.

Thanks for the tips about turning off the SVoice and animations thru Developer options. I have the Note 3 and not sure I'm gonna be upgrading just yet, but those tips did seem to speed up my phone.

Well done, it's refreshing to see an honest comparison on KZbin, i have a Note 3 at the moment, think i'm going to skip the Note 4 like i did the Note 2, the jump just isn't quite big enough yet :) And yes if i had to choose one of those phones as my No1 it would obviously be the Note 4.

I like both these phones but I'm still a Sony Xperia Z3 fan. Looks amazing and sure it doesn't have as much multitasking abilities but I like that's it waterproof, has a premium feel to it plus, the Xperia Z family line is always being upgraded every 6 months.

Nice comparison, really enjoy how you mention the lag on the Note 4, that's a very big deciding factor as to whether or not I pick up the phone, and I appreciate your explanation as to why yes, it's there, but no it doesn't ruin the phone.
