Floss has been sent from the gods! I've had my PI8s boxed up ready to be returned for a while (longer Christmas returns), I was convinced they sounded worse that my EXs and was confused as to why everyone was raving about these. Watching this back I decided to give these another try but copy the 'floss eq' settings, BOOM the PI's suddenly sound amazing!!!

​@Almir_SLOVENIJA The H100s have about 3-4x deeper earcups, much more comfortable to wear. The H95s earcups are very shallow, almost flat, the drivers sit on the ears. The ANC and transparency is also night and day, with a wider sound stage and they also get much louder than the H95s.

Tried the EX back to back with the momentum 4 and went with the momentum as I thought they were better audio to my ears. Not tried your number 1s the Pi8 but they must be terrific . Great review.

I had the same thing but after just 1 year i was having connectivity issues & was getting 1 hour battery max. Paid £300. Warranty or not its ridiculous having to return etc.

If so than you should expect at least very good sound for 400€/$ earbuds Dont get me wrong, i own them by myself and i LOVE them! About laptops with b&p speaker you are absolutely right - this is just bait (Same with other Good Brands like Harman/Kardon or whatsoever But Cars... B&O have great Sound Systems wich are unique (And also not the cheapest if thats a point haha)

I love the PI8s literally the best by a country mile..those and the AZ80 are my everyday carry. And another thing, it really does matter what app and phone you use for your music. If you really want the best sound quality I personally recommend listening to your music with Deezer on an android phone and make sure you have all your streaming settings to high fidelity and get yourself a paid of HIFI earbuds playing over aptx or LDAC.

Got both but AZ80 better for value but lacks bass and PI8s sound better than AZ80 but lacks customization in choosing touch features. Also occationally the PI8s makes a tone when switching between modes of ANC and transparency and the tone itself is loud and wish can turn down or off. Other times the modes switch without the tone so not sure if mine are faulty but app updates would help the PI8s.

@JLummin my PI8 switch without the sound sometimes too. I dont know. But in my experience with the AZ80 they have better bass. But I have had another pair of AZ80 that I purchased from Amazon and they didn't sound right at all. Absolutely no based. I said it's definitely something wrong with these, and returned them. Later I purchased the ones I have now and they sound great.

I remember I bought Sennheiser MTW 4 in Mercado Libre, and got stunned by its sound, particularly by its SOUND IMAGE, while sound stage was pretty good; sadly I had to return them to the cuz wanted the copper version and I had the black ones. Now I bought the copper through Amazon and they don't sound as great as I expected with the blacks. Just received the Beoplay 11's, after the long ass update (god damm wtf had triple A games download faster) love them so far. Sound great, probably the best fitting buds ever used, nice premium solid build (do not feel cheap). Not as loud as the PI8's but better bluetooth connectivity, PI8's drove me nuts. Touch sensors are smaller and seem less sensitive, while wearing a hoodie working out less prone to occidental touches. The med comply tips felt a little too big, went back to silicone med. Nice

Thank you for the quick review! I was hoping the Beoplay 11 will come out as a winner, this would've made my decision much easier. I've just received the Px8 and H100 recently and the difference is massive. Therefore I can't go with the Pi8 if I keep the H100. I need a complete set, so it must be either the Beoplay H100 and Eleven or the Px8 and Pi8. But since I've heard the H100s, I can't really go back. So I guess I made up my mind. 😅

I own a pair of Sennheiser Momentum over the ear headphones and I can say it's meant for music production, so the the sound is limited, meaning no bass or additives, since that's what gets added later on in production. I think the in ear headphones were designed to do the same thing so the sound is intentionally limited. Nevertheless this video is very informative, so thanks for making it. I will check out your suggestion.
