The most significant issue we found on mine was the core shift on the intake runners that required some clean up. Mine were purchased over 4 years ago.

For the money they seem sweet but am i the only one who doesn't want to go to aluminium heads and still stare at freeze/core plugs when i open the hood?

these heads flow about as good as a ported ford head...which is not good. its not your fault they just suck. i heard the thunpers are a bit better with that weird "W" exhaust port

yeah, they don't flow the best do they, which is unfortunate when they are advertised differently. with the work I've done, they should pick up flow quite a bit, and yeah, I've heard the thumpers are a lot better. I wonder if the problems with original ones is the reason they started the thumpers

Are the spark plug taps all different angles?
