Crabs , flounder and striped bass are my absolute favorite eats . They are also easy from the bank or a bridge . Nothing like the taste of gulf seafood .

I would have to say my favorite is probably speckled trout or filleting a redfish but leaving the scales on it and throwing it scales down on the bbq pit. This is by far the best way to have redfish.

I made a trip down to the Cameron ferry landing last Tuesday, brought back 4 flounder from 14" to 16. My daughter and I went back down Friday morning brought back 3, 16 1/2 ", 17 3/4" and 19inch. Way too many people to fish without someone breathing in your face. I need to get you to take me flounder fishing in some of your secret spots! Keep the videos coming...

I wish they were secret spots but I haven't been catching anything lately. The ferry is the best spot I know this time of year it does suck so many people there. It was packed today too.

Can you help point me in the right direction for bank fishing in south Louisiana? I’m up in Shreveport and really want to drive down to catch some trout, flounder, and reds.

I don't know any spots to find speckled trout or red off the bank around here. I just moved back after 20 years last Nov. It's pretty hard to find spots that you can catch all that on land. Without a boat you are super limited. If you want flounder the Cameron ferry has a dock you can catch them off or if you wade fish beside the dock people catch them there also.
