Personally, I would just a flow hive upper and add it to existing hives. While it is expensive, it also means you wouldn't need to buy frame centrifuge too. Which also means less disturbing of the bees. So the price comes with a trade off. Easier to get honey later since no need to disturb the bees, move the frames, spin them, then put them back and then the bees have to rebuild the entire thing. With the flow hive, just have he bees leave it, then use the key to split the frame and harvest the honey right there at the box.
@HairyBottom6 жыл бұрын
Yep, the price comes from all that engineering.
@jody0246 жыл бұрын
He already owns a centrifuge.... also this product can be at least 40% cheaper. All materials used in it are dirt cheap.

Wonder what the plastic is made of? And if it will be detrimental to the bees. I have a cat with thyroid problems. I asked the vet what could cause that. She said they think it's from plastics. Like the liners in the cat food cans and plastic dishes and bottles. So I worry that it will hurt the bees, and they have a hard enough time.
