I'm a little late, this was two years ago, but gonna comment anyway. You are so much fun to watch! My son is a youtuber and I know what goes into shooting these videos. Especially having to set up the camera, do your bouquets, take the camera with you to the shop...a whole lot of work!! And you're always so energized!! Nicole, one of a kind bouquets (like you're doing,) should be considered an art form and a unique way of connecting personally, one on one with your customers. I sell oil paintings for a living and the fact that each one is the only one and unique, makes for a special bond with each buyer. In their choosing a unique piece, they are completing its story by adding their own memories and personal preference. So too, do designers solidify both their clients & reputations by one of a kind pieces. Exult in it! Enjoy it! This sounds a little silly, but when I get dahlias whose petals are loose like that, I put the petals in my salads! They act just like baby spinach, and I’m way happier eating a rainbow salad than a green one 😍

I was directing you which flowers to add to bouquets. I guess you couldn't hear me. I would love to see a white-dominant bouquet with some of those pretty celosia, maybe some pink zinnias. Hey! I harvested my first dahlia bloom. I was on the phone with my brother so couldn't use a pruners to cut it properly. He told me when he worked (recently retired) a fellow mechanic would bring in buckets of dahlias to share with them. Aww! Guys like flowers, too. 🥰

I wish I had the loot, I'd send Axl a gift to help him "sweep the porch"..We got a small Dewalt leaf blower and it's perfect for small jobs like blowing dirt away after potting or blowing leaves and petals off the porch. The larger heavy duty version is better for blowing leaves in the yard through grass but the small version is great for the smaller jobs.
