Love mine. The only issue I had was the bridge popped off a few months after I bought it. Had to take it back to guitar center to be glued back on.

The C5 series gets good... there are better ones, but for most players, it is plenty good enough and affordable. I got a Fusion12 Orchestra CE with spruce top and Brazilian back/sidesr for cheap ... hardly used and it is nearly like a luthier made guitar (my pal makes real custom classicals and those electrics seen in Lindy Fralin's videos)

Any thoughts on the C5 compared to the GK Studio Flamenco guitar? What’s the draw of Flamenco guitars, is there any need for one if I won’t be carving up the wood with my fingernails? Also, I have to ask about your accent, are you English-born American or an American-born Englishman? I am the former and have a hybrid accent similar to yours.

Not really - unless you just like the sound of it. Flamencos are usually set up lower so they buzz a bit - classicals are more pristine.

I buy the D'Addario Classic Nylon - they aren't too expensive and are decent for the money.

whats the difference between the washurn c5ce and the Cordoba c5ce, is the washburn a clone of the corboda?? if so is it a good clone?? I currently own the yamaha c40 and it sounds beatiful but has neck bowing issues, and does not have a pick up which i really am looking for. . .Im torn betweent the washburn, coreboda and c40x [ the c40 with a pick up] I appreciate any advice you can recomend. .

No it's not the same - the Cordoba is much better. I would go with a Cordoba or check out the Kremona models for a replacement.

Depends what shape it's in. If it's in good condition then that's a bargain. Even if it just needs a set up that's a bargain.

T stands for "thin body", a more compact version ,so be careful when ordering one

Not suggested. Classical guitars are not designed to handle the tension of steel strings.
