for me personally I just feel like building in creative is somewhat pointless if you’re never gonna really use it for anything meanwhile in survival whatever you build you have a reason for and actually means something wish I didn’t feel like that though 😭

@@upbeatterraria8597that is a pretty reasonable point, and while I do play much more survival than creative myself, building in creative just for the fun of it is the same as any other artistic endeavor. You probably aren’t going to use a painting or drawing you made for anything except maybe display, so why exclude creative builds from that same type of pastime?

I really only play creative because I suck at survival and since I don’t have all the resources in the palm of the hand ready to be used in a single click makes wanting to build in survival tricky. I love survival but I find it hard to stay motivated and actually play it

I heard you ask what the tower is for, its just them burning off excess waste and chemicals they use when refining and extracting oil. If the flame is small that means they're being efficient in their burning and not polluting the air too much, if the flame is large it means too much chemicals and waste is being burned and they'll receive a fine

They are not only burning chemicals, if its a rig for oil, it also burns the natural gas, since it is not made to store it

That oil rig is literally one of the most unique and intriguing build ive seen. I feel such builds require lots of guessing and just placing things down because the shape just does not appear whatsoever. Flow is definitely in flowstate. Love this build overall ❤.

the oil rigs big tower is called a derrick and I believe it houses machinery and piping to feed into the huge drill. I image what you mentioned about the flames is the flare boom, it looks like a horizontal crane almost with fire coming out the end, which is for disposing of gasses that build up in certain areas of the rig and it serves as a depressurization system. Edit: Someone beat me to it lol

About the oil rig, there is such an interesting game called still wakes the deep. The story is beautiful and it stores emotional scenes, its got really good graphics and its so creative, flow you should try it :)

success is really hard bro , there a few days that i get really upset in the middle of the journey , i could hit the gym , eat food , have a swim at the pool , but these few weeks i find it really relaxing to sit back put on some air buds and listen to your calming and relaxing voice and music , these 30 mins relaxing break have been really helpful thanks bro , keep going .

Im not sure if you know this yet but world edit is super good for texturing. Whether you’re doing walls or paths using the wand(//wand) and a block like red wool, you can make a shape of a path and replace it with whatever blocks you want. Example: making a path using red wool, selecting the area the red wool is in using the wand, using //replace(//replace red_wool coarse_dirt,dirt_path,podzol,gravel)it will then randomly choose which of the selected blocks to replace the red wool with. Basically it can be used to automate the most tedious part of building. The wand can also be used to cover large areas with blocks.

Yo if your curious and other peeps havent said oil rigs work through a process called fractional distillation basically oil isnt one liquid its lots of simmilar liquids with different boiling points so you boil them and they separate on different levels meaning you can get different things and the flare stack (the burning thing on rigs) is there to burn stuff that isnt useful or profitable to either transport or just in general isnt usefull to people i think its generally kerosene and maybe propene i think ( i may be wrong on that).

so the dump truck you built typically has quite a small cabin, off to one side, and they sometimes have staircases going all around the front, even in front of the grill. The bed is usually much larger and extends over top of the cabin area, like an awning.

27:40 Oil rigs have the flame towers to help release pressure slowly and to not release gas into the air or the rig too quickly otherwise the rig will explode 🙂👍

If you ever want to make those hanging ladders, you could use Barrier blocks behind the ladders instead of trap doors. I like it a lot.

Should try delegating some tasks to the people that are there at the time. Like the guy that suggested the crane, you should check with him and discuss his idea, and put all the blocks that he would want to use to build the crane in a chest and let him do it. Would possibly bring a similar thing such as the tram rail that you showed in another video. They might come up with something really cool :D

Complementary had an update where theres colored blocklighting, which can make things like torches and lanterns give a really nice, warm feel, You should really try it out it gives tons of life to even places like regular villages! (Ill post on discord about it)
