I always rooted against Floyd but the more I rewatch his fights the more I understand what a unique and special fighter he is. He defense is beyond compare. Yeah he never had great power but his fluidity and accuracy and resiliency is something to behold. Kind of a fan now.

Floyd Mayweather fights were super boring because of his impregnable defense and reliance on pitter patter flurries but I’ve got to admit- a few of those shots would have definitely put a lesser fighter down. The instinctive turtle up defense saved him from so many knockdowns.
