I was 8 years old and not completely aware of all the details but knew the general story. As an adult I feel sorry for Tonya. I'm also in awe of Nancy for squeaking out those fantastic routines. She deserved the gold that night.

I hated what Tanya pulled on Nancy. Your suppose to improve yourself not cause injury to another olympian. How would you like someone to injured you and you may or may not skate again. We spectators don't like cheating, to win gold.

Tonya had nothing to do with it. Everyone in her life was trying to make money off someone else, including her ex and Tonya's mother who wanted to make money off of her endorsements. Tonya would have NEVER been happy with herself had she won by cheating, that wouldn't be winning to her.
