We love Fluffy! When my dad passed away, I was in a bad place. Driving home to Tennessee from Texas after the funeral was hard, and I have never cried so much. I didn't think I would ever feel joy or be able to laugh ever again. My wife turned on Netflix and put on one of Fluffy's specials. For a brief moment, the pain went away and I found myself laughing. Thank you Gabriel, for your comedy and for how you've done it all these years. God bless you and I hope you continue to have much success.

Great to see this interview! I'm one of the few people that had never heard of Gabriel Iglesias / Fluffy before a few weeks ago _and I clicked on one KZbin segment, and then another and then another._ When I saw this this morning, just the anticipation of getting to see an interview with him brought a smile to my face. I suppose all comedy has its place but I'm one of those that just likes the clean Joy Of Life.. no anger, no division etc. Mr Iglesias brings the joy of laughter and we all need that at this time!

Moved my baby Brother and his girlfriend into my place when he fell on hard times back in 2017 and that were watching Fluffy do stand up. They were laughing so hard that I came down stairs to join them and there wasn't a dry eye in the house we were laughing so hard!... Isn't he great? In The Fluffy Movie, Iglesias describes how at his heaviest, which he states was 445 pounds (202 kilograms), he was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes, and with his blood sugar spiking to over 300 mg/dl (16.6 mmol/L) regularly, was given two years to live by his doctor. He said the shock of being told he had two years to live prompted him to reevaluate how he took care of himself and explained that he decided to lose weight in order to ensure his continued presence in the lives of his family. Iglesias described the struggle to incorporate a healthier lifestyle, relating how he was told by a specialist that his heavy touring schedule precluded him from being a candidate for bariatric surgery, and how he resorted instead to weight-lifting, Diamond Dallas Page Yoga, and a high-protein, low-carbohydrate diet, which helped him shed over 100 pounds (45 kilograms). Iglesias has also struggled with depression and alcoholism, which he attributes partly to burnout from his heavy touring schedule.
