in my version I had a option to conscript knight-Captain Denam. It opens up a operation on the war table, but if you conscript him everyone disapproves.

+TheEreder It depends if you pick the lock in his room and find evidence he killed the Knight Viglant or not. If you did you can exile him to the Sea of Ash but not recruit him if not you can recruit him but you can't exile him.

@@EmoBearRights Aside from having an agent that decreases time of other war table operations he really isn't usefull. He has a personal War table mission where he either leads your men to ambush and escapes leaving you with nothing or if you choose Cullen to lead it, he's killed and you get 30 influence of it.

Here after a few years. I am so pissed I didn’t open the locked doors in the red Templar fort I totally forgot you can open them with rogues... at this is 10 hours back... would have liked the option the most but well sea of ash or Templar judgement seems good too I guess? Thanks for the video

Actually, I just learned. You need to find the Knight-Vigilant's body in order to gain the option to send him to the gallows.

Does anybody but me see a lot of potential mysteries around Denam and his lines here? What "greater power" could he be referring to? I highly doubt it's Corypheus, since the Inquisitor already knows about Cory, but rather something tied to the red lyrium itself, like an old god or even something to do with the Evanuris behind the door. What does he mean by "you can't hide me, it's pointless"? Hide him from what? He also says "Not after I survived this long, don't you see?"-- I'm assuming he means the red lyrium poisoning. But how did he survive? Sure, you could just discount this all as mad babbling, but usually Bioware means something deeper in situations like this, and the red templars really are connected to the blight. I have a bad feeling we'll never hear about this again or have this referenced in DA4... and I'll be sad.

@@kingsboro1 That was only because Hawke was there to help fight Meredith. In the Order, there was no Hawke to back Denam up if he disobeyed the Lord Seeker. Though teeeechinically, if Cullen did stick with the Order, he would have most likely died at the Conclave like the other Knight-Commanders. Still, Denam's point stands and Cullen is a hypocrite who acts like he's above the templars because he left them in their hour of need. I refuse to be pressured into liking Cullen because the fandom tells me to, and if disliking Cullen and liking Denam makes me a pariah within the DA fanbase, so be it.

No, he is a replacement for the Magister Alexius judgement. You judge Denam if you sided with the Templars and Alexius if you sided with the Mages.
