One thing I would like to see is adding the proper UL certification on your videos. Some of us live in New York and need to know that. Also, some of us don't live in New York, but would love to know if these scooters are UL certified. As far as I know, some GoTrax models and NIU models are UL certified.

The Horizon is a great commuting scooter. I owned mine for two years and did ZERO maintenance. Never had an issue.

Loved mine so much! I had it for about a year before it was stolen from my car after a break in 😢 only downside was the rear fender tends to slap the wheel but i never got a flat in all my time riding (crazy luck) and it never had any issues. Highly recommend

Thanks for the updated review. I've been comparing this scooter and the Inokim Light 2 scooter. I haven't purchased one yet, but I need to make a decision before spring time. These both fold in a way that makes them short enough (less than 39-inches) that they will fit in the trunk of our sports car. That is a key benefit for us.

I have over 1200 miles on mine, and find this review to be accurate. I did eventually have to replace the battery, but got a good deal from Fluid on it.

I swear I'll get this scooter someday.... Very cool to see a long-term review. The 3 scooters that I've owned have all encountered issues, 2 within a year, and one just after a year. One had multiple issues, and another became unrideable just after warranty. A 2 year test seems perfect imo. It's too bad about the dolly wheels, that was a huge selling point for me, but I can definitely see them getting caught on something when I'm riding.

I'm considering purchasing an F2 pro with suspension, and I would like to see more information on how well it holds up over time.also any updates on current prices and discount codes. I’d say the only one better than this is the Vsett 8…swing arm suspension on both front and rear, goes up to 24 mph and bought it for $550 with a code. Now it’s $700 which is still cheaper

The horizon was good in 2020 but in 2024, there’s the ninebot max 2 and NIU along with countless other commuter scooters. I’ve seen all 3 in person and the ninebot is easily the better option. Horizon is outdated and FFR should make a new model. I think their fluid vista is a better option.

I got mine for $765 with the 13Ah battery. It lasted about 2 years and just under 500 miles before it stopped charging and that's with me keeping the battery between 40-80% charged unless I planned on a longer joy ride. Range was ok, I could get maybe 15-20 miles in setting 1. In that time I've only had 1 flat from what looked like abrasion of loose rubber inside the tire, but it was easy to fix because of the split rim. I'm a little disappointed in the life of the battery, I was hoping it would at least last 700ish miles to get roughly $1/mile on the cost, though maybe that was a bit optimistic. It currently looks like their batteries are sold out on their site, so I'm probably getting rid of my scooter as soon as I figure out where to dispose of the battery. I'd say maybe a 3/5 stars for a decent but outdated scooter that has a good company customer service and that much of the scooter is serviceable if you're mechanically inclined

i would like to see some long term reviews on the niu scooters because even though they've been making mopeds for a while, they're still relatively new in the kick scooter space. i've seen enough 1 star reviews regarding their QC, which makes me want to wait a few iterations for them to work out those issues before buying.

I've had the KQi2 Pro for 9 months, 700+ miles. No mechanical issues - solid, no rattles, beautiful build - though it's slower (real world max. 16 mph, 15 mile range for 190 lb. rider) than I expected. It's even managed some light snow with no issues - great 10'' tubeless tires. The app is a bit of a lemon - it disconnects regularly, and must be reinstalled, or has flashed someone else's scooter (once), and the settings for regen braking don't stick. Overall, for the price ($700 Cdn, tax incl.), it is a bargain.
