how much coolant should i add in the middle or to full? i was reading my manual to optimal is enough in the middle im confused on that part is a 2020 corolla LE bought it new with 70 miles

When engine is cold ,add to full.

The two marks on the coolant reservoir only represent the minimum and maximum coolant levels when the engine is cold and the cooling system is not pressurized. Pay no attention to those levels after the engine has been running and has not cooled down.

At what miles should I change the transmission fluid?

Just be safe and change it out every 30k. Toyota says to change it 30k-60k, but I would go on the lower side of that and change it every 30k -40k to make sure you get the most out of your CVT. Oil changes are another thing that i'm extremely religious about. They say you can go 10k per oil change, but I do mine every 6k to MAKE SURE that there will be no sludging and that the car will get over 200k on the motor in the long term. There are debates on oil change intervals with modern synthetic oils.....but when an oil change is a cheap enough service, it's always better to play it safe. :)

I went 1 year 6 months before changing the oil, but I had only driven about 3000 miles. Most of that was on a two week road trip highway miles, otherwise car is driven seldom. Do you think waiting that long is really bad, or?

If your mileage is 75% highway i would change it at 60k, if its 75% city then at 30k…
