Hi I’m in desperate need of help. I have a canon 6d and the mode selector is not working and by that I mean the small button on the mode wheel you push down and twist the wheel with. The push button is permanently stuck down ! Help I’ve used aceton to clear any glue and such but it seems super glued down

I don't have a video in my Canon 6D video repair series for repairing the power/mode switch, but I do have one for a Canon 60D, which may or may not be similar. So use the first video in my 6D series to remove the top section of the camera, here's a link to that video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qobPapaMaqx0aq8, and then use this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/qKGoaHalaMmZndE, which is from my 60D series, to get an idea on how to disassemble the power/mode switch. Again, I don't recall how similar the power/mode switches are between the 6D and the 60D though. Sorry I can't be more help.
