Great review TETC. Did the tester come with any accessories or do they have to be purchased separately?
@TheElectriciansToolChannel4 жыл бұрын
No accessories other than what’s displayed in the video. Keep in mind I purchased this unit used in EXCELLENT CONDITION. I researched an answer for your question and it doesn’t look like any other accessories come with the tester except a pair of protective probe caps. But overall, man I love this tester 💯 percent satisfied.

Thanks for the review. I;m debating whether to pick one up or get the T5-600 instead.

Look at the features that they both have and the features that you use the most.

Un T5 no es un comprobador de tensión el T Pro si
@rsteiner44063 ай бұрын
El T + Pro seria como una evolución del T150 ? ... Al parecer Fluke descatalogó los comprobadores anteriores

No its NOT a solenoid tester :) Fluke specifically writes that it is not a solenoid tester. Sincerely.

I've tried over and over to try to test an OHM load on a speaker cannot get it to work

I think it does continuity only not resistance.

Thanks Robb, I appreciate that, I’m glad you found the video interesting. If you haven’t already get connected to the channel and take a look at my other 💯 videos, and stay tuned there’s more to come sir.

Mine don't beep or even light up when testing continuity between leads. Something is wrong with mine straight out of the package. Hell even the included batteries were dead..

Return it immediately, don’t fiddle around with it 👎
@alexhelie49413 жыл бұрын
@@TheElectriciansToolChannel nevermind... I didn't realize that you have to press the ohm button while touching the leads together in order for it to be put into continuity mode. 🤦♂️

This is my second fluke meter. I own a couple of the t5-600s and expected the continuity mode to be the same.. glad I figured that out here and instead of in the field.

we were installing two subpanel for a inverter. With the fluke TPRO the display there was this unstable, no show me the 220 volts, but with fluke 289, no problem. Me mostraba cambio de direccion de voltajes. la pantalla mostraba diferentes voltajes simultaniamente. pero los leds, mostraban mas 200 volt. pero no en pantalla. solamente el problemas esta cuando es trifasico.
@TheElectriciansToolChannel Жыл бұрын
I’m not sure what maybe the issue, but did you check the batteries 🔋 inside your TPro, or the test leads and probes. If those are ok your tester maybe defective.
@frd672000 Жыл бұрын
Probé el tester en mi casa. Probé en el Main panel, 239 volt. Con tpro. Solamente problemas cuando están tres paneles unidos

you can also check rotation if you have a three phase service with this unit

So, forgive my ignorance here, what is the value of carrying this compared to a full suit meter? Are we just paying for speed in the test?
@DragonSummoner55524 жыл бұрын
@@StormbringerMM It is a bit less expensive that a proper meter and as was mentioned in the video it is nice and small. It is good for verifying that an energy source has been disconnected properly before starting work or figure out what wire you need to work on with the continuity. A few of my coworkers have them and use them on sight because where I am working right now is very dirty and they don't want to wreck their good meters unless they need to use the other features. One of the older journeymen on sight recommends them to newer apprentices as well so they can have something more reliable than a tick tester without breaking the bank or risking a blown fuse every time you forget to shut off power before testing for continuity.

Because of convenience and it has all the basic functions you use the most.
