I love Japanese flutes. Altus, Murumatsu, Miyazawa. They sound so good.

Both sound great! I thought the Haynes had an earthy, woody sound and the Muramatsu had a very clear sparkling sound. I prefer the Haynes, but only by a bit.

Muramatsu 100 percent Q1 is made in Taiwan and Muramatsu is handmade in Japan

You make them both sound good! I like the haynes in the low register a little better

Wow! EX-III sounded way better than I thought and really well balanced. Its heaviness and stability sounds more like modern professional flute. Q1 sounds a little bit too light but also different characteristic from Muramatsu and having more sweet colorful sound (kind of mix sound of old french and typical cheaper American flute).

😊The muramatsu in my opinion had a more open sound bnt generally not much in it.
