Why not use the new Qwen instead of Florence? I'm finding Florence not that good.

Great thinking! Qwen is definitely an option, but if I remember correctly, it's fairly heavier in terms of VRAM requirements (model is larger). With both Flux being that last step taking a lot of memory as is, it may hamper folks that have cards with less than 16GB of VRAM (so I tried to keep it as light as possible). That being said, if you have the memory, it's definitely an option.
