Love. This. Suddenly realize I don't have to go spend thousands of dollars building my custom "dream studio" with all sorts of completely unnecessary over-the-top sh7t when all it truly takes is the minimal talent and acquired set of skills and knowledge to turn my existing ideas and several lifetime's worth of stockpiled material into a viable creative product. I liked Flux before...but realizing he created hit songs and achieved legit "rockstar status" using such a minimalist setup, I'm that much more impressed and inspired. Good sh7t. Much respect.

Absolutely true. I've produced long enough to know that you don't need to start off with the "latest, greatest" pieces of gear. Glad you're inspired. That's where it begins. Just go for it man! :)

Haha I love Flux Pavilion's producing style and attitude: "If it doesn't sound good by itself, then just put lots of distortion on it". haha. i admire how he just tells you what he does and makes it seem so easy. When someone can make something that's really good, look really easy, thats when you know they're a pro.

Dear Flux Pavilion: You need to elevate your monitors and angle them, because you aren't going to get a very good stereo image with where they are right now. Sincerely - Some unknown producer
@CollisionDubstep

They work fine for him, his music sounds amazing, is there really a problem? xD
@xXthisXguyXx
@xXthisXguyXx 10 жыл бұрын
I'm not saying his music is bad I'm just saying it helps out. Because there's nothing like having a good stereo image :3 Also when they're angled properly you can hear everything and it's amazing.
@CollisionDubstep
@CollisionDubstep 10 жыл бұрын
Yeah good point, but I mean if it works for him, and he's used to their positioning, why change them? :P Even though speaking from experience they do sound a lot better when angled properly
@xXthisXguyXx
@xXthisXguyXx 10 жыл бұрын
It's not really something that would change the way you produce or that you'd have to get used to. It's just expanding what you can hear :3
