high cut on the cymbals and let the synths use the high end or viceversa. in the context of the song you have to let just one be there and the other will complement the sound.

Always loved Flux Pavilion. He's the master of huge layered stacked walls of sound. Cool to see the 'gold dust' he sprinkles throughout, because that ends up mattering just as much as the big phat basses and leads. No frequencies left behind.

flux pavillon got me into electronic stuff over a decade ago. I remember hearing Digital Controĺler and being amazed... I've just started putting my focus into learning and making my own music. It will take a long time until I am satisfied with what I'm making but I will make something out of this in the end. Thank you for the lesson

It seems to be an almost 50/50 split amongst producers whether you should find good sounds in the first place or layer a lot of sounds together to get the one you want. I've had success with both ways.

What happened to the really good music producers used to make? This dubstep vibe is just audio pollution. Many of the new tracks these days are audio pollution and ear ache! Old school music is still by far better than this shit.

Flux is a legend. Let us know when you make a song that reaches its first 100 listens. From there, then put another 10+ years in and come back and talk.
@phynyxsound Жыл бұрын
@@LETTMusic Try being calm mate, don't take everything as an insult. It was my honest opinion and I'm still proud of it. It's not about plays or money or anything, it's about art and different opinions. Have some respect, don't jump at people like that, maybe they are better than what you think. Step out of the box mate. Cheers! Much love for Flux Pavilion and appreciation for teaching about tricks and technical stuff
@LETTMusic Жыл бұрын
@@phynyxsound I very calmly put you in your place because you reduced this to 'noise pollution' and 'ear ache' and called this 'shit'. I wouldn't say you started on a calm foot. I love music of all decades, we can go back to Gregorian chants and Baroque pieces on the harpsichord. What I'm not into is musical elitism. Doesn't have to be old vs. new, good music is good music. You put negativity out, so you get negativity back, that's the overall lesson. If it's not to your taste, then there's no reason to hate on it, it's just not for you. I find there's something valuable in every genre. I'm not the one in a 'box'. Show respect to get respect.
@phynyxsound Жыл бұрын
@@LETTMusic You have a very bad world view man, go correct yourself and also at least practice what you preach mate! LMFAO. My mistake was taking you seriously. My bad coming down to your level. Good luck in your box!
@LETTMusic Жыл бұрын
@@phynyxsound My bad for checking you after you tried to belittle a veteran producer. It was just a sarcastic takedown, but take from it what you will. You continue to try and make up my world view and talk about my perspective, but you need to take a look in the mirror, for something you started. This isn't about musical opinion, it's about not calling someone trash, especially when you don't have the catalog or industry experience to help add credentials to why your opinion matters in the first place. You came in with a superiority complex against Flux Pavilion and dubstep, but from your position, you are just mud slinging. I'm practicing what I preach by trying to get a message across to you to not do that and consider looking for the best in genres, or tips that you can apply to your own music even though you don't create this style. It's called having a mentality that you're never too good or above anyone to learn something new. Internet arguments are a waste of both of our times, so as Kendrick said, sit down, be humble.
