This is a nice map you've made. Ive been using it on my most recent city, 100k population and I still haven't made a single connection to the highway, all metro and pedestrian paths with trains for cargo. All citizens come in through the airport. Cargo trains are starting to get a bit messy but other than that it's basically perfect.

I hope we'll see some more creative work in the next episode. This one was pretty much only plopping down buildings. No landscaping, parks, infrastructure, foliage at all. I liked what you did in Fluxburg, basing episodes on themes and doing time lapses for the repetitive work.

For the trains, I know they might be getting stuck off the map. Go into the free camera thing and try to follow the rails as far as they can go. You might see a giant backlog of trains. Also, maybe use the lane manager to ban trucks on a section of the highway far away from the city so trucks can't get in at all. Those are my 2 solutions! A couple other things... First, any reason you aren't using those "fade out" buildings (aka small skyscrapers)? Second, in regards to your subway system... I think the loop method works better. Just because you can't see them, subways are similar to trains in the sense that they can and will backup. If you've got different lines trying to use the same track, they might backup and get stuck in the metro tunnels. Anyways, I'm real glad you're back on KZbin! I know the college life can be really time consuming at times, so don't feel any pressure to upload at a specific time.,. In fact, if you could wait until after my exam on Friday... That would be awesome hahaha!

Hi Flux, I was checking out your vids and you seem to like games that allow for a lot of creativity, I wonder have you thought of trying Kerbal Space Program? from a design standpoint it allows almost unlimited creativity and then applies real physics to your creation, there's a free demo on steam if you feel like giving it a try.

I was surprised Flux was lacking in his unique building library. But yeah, First Canadian Place is the finest looking skyscraper available from the workshop, it just looks great. I think in my main save(200k), it's like the 8th or 9th tallest building in the city.

Gula spelled the stadium wrong. It's Amalie Arena in Tampa, FL. It's the main host of the Tampa Bay Lightning NHL team. It also hosts the Arena Football League Tampa Bay Storm, and holds most of the concerts in Tampa

There is a mod with a 1x1 concrete, it's a park i think, and it's used to fill blank spaces with concrete, better than the paths. And there are also 1x1's or 2x2's with different textures.

If you wanted them to use cargo trains instead of trucks you could get the traffic plus mod and block cargo trucks from that first section of highway so they won't come into the city at all

+Fluxtrance, why not make the highway longer by having it spiral a few times for no good reason at the edge of the map? :P But that is the extreme and ridiculous solution. Of course you could let the highway curve somewhere and the train cut the corner. That would be more realistic.

Flux try the connection on the railway, I found one of my lines was not connected properly and that was causing no trains to enter my city because the tracks didn't join up. Just a thought.

How did you make your cities skylines game so fast and fluid? Mine lags like hell and it is a computer with 8GB RAM and 64 bit. I thought 8 is more than enough, but i could be wrong.
