Another great video adventure, thanks for sharing. I really enjoy when you talk about the "condition" of creeks people aren't careful with, it helps me to appreciate nature and still see the beauty of an area in spite of that. Tight Lines!

I enjoy ur videos. I've seen mine runoff here in CA. The state went after the corporations n made them clean up their runoff. The creeks n rivers are clean once again. Keep the enjoyable videos coming. God Bless n Fish on!

I need you to go back to that drainage ditch from your early days. I’m sitting here wondering if there are still fish in there!

great video as usual, I use a 7' 4wt for those tight areas. can't imagine how you don't snag even more with that long a rod?
@hardmanfishing2 сағат бұрын
Idk either 😂 I should’ve brought my shorter rod but I didn’t unfortunately

Those fish down there seem to fight more than any fish in our state.
@hardmanfishing2 сағат бұрын
Rainbows are just crazy in general, but I think the bigger browns up north fight harder imo.

Good vid. I wish you’d show the rig and explain a little on how you’re fishing it. I have a good guess, but can’t see too clearly what you’re doing Reminds me of a chat I’ve had - 7 fish 7 waters 1 day I may have the order a little off but leaving Denver- Clear creek Blue River Ten mile creek Arkansas River Eagle River Gore creek Colorado river Lot of driving but doable

@AT-ht6ce18 сағат бұрын
You should use a 7ft rod for those bushy narrow creeks 😊
@highthai716 сағат бұрын
Nope. 6'9".
@hardmanfishing3 сағат бұрын
I should, but I just didn’t even have that rod with me 😂

Love watching your videos, a lot of great content and action but one suggestion: you have to start wearing camo or natural colored clothes. Even though you approach fist from downstream to upstream a trout’s field of view is wide especially in low and clear conditions. It’ll improve your success minimize spooking as many fish. It’s a game changer especially with big old weary trout.. trust me. I only wear camo when fishing now
@hardmanfishing3 сағат бұрын
I think it depends on the situation. What people don’t think about is that the fish are looking up at a white sky. So having dark clothing doesn’t always work out. Like when you wear dark clothing in a tree stand and the deer pics you out against the white sky. My point is every situation is different, even though I agree wearing bright colors isn’t ideal 😂 that’s just a warm jacket

I did enjoy! Lots of people curse those mines but they really shined during this terrible drought in WV. If it wasn’t for the mine drainage in my area they’re wouldn’t have been any water for the cattle we run. Those drainages pumped water the whole time! Yes, it’s a bit orange, but life giving water. Our cattle feed on reclaimated strip job grass and drink mine water. Nature thrives on it. Keep up the videos. Maybe someday I’ll fish some if your streams instead of just riding trails down in your part of the state
@hardmanfishing2 сағат бұрын
I have 2 rebuttals to the first part of this comment… the first being that the water coming out of those mines is ground water trapped in the mines. Water follows the path of least resistance, so it ends up coming out of mine shafts. When it is pumped it’s usually done for a reason (like concentrating the flow so it can be treated). But the water moving through those mountains and into the streams existed long before the mines were put in place. So to pretend like the mines are the reason these creeks exist / have water is a fallacy I see repeated over and over again 😂 nobody even knows what the creeks looked like before the mines. We’re just lucky the coal seems in that area are set in limestone or no trout would be living right now. But thanks for watching and glad you’re enjoying riding on the trails!! It’s an awesome area, maybe we’ll run into each other one day. Thanks for watching!

Shame people use the streams for a dump.
@arunasrimkus19227 сағат бұрын
Same stuff happens in my country across the pond... People dispose of tires, car parts and other junk into the nearest forest or lake
@hardmanfishing3 сағат бұрын
100% agree. I’ll go to stream cleanups and there’s just a much trash year after year
@Dylans_Garage16 сағат бұрын
Long term effects. Those fish will either be gone or mutant in a few years..
