You guys will hit 1 million before you know it, best fly fishing channel on KZbin

How do you guys not have 100k subs, this is the best flyfishing channel on KZbin! Side note, little known fact San Diego bay has a year round native population of bonefish
@Valleymobwelding2 жыл бұрын
@@permitfisher 100%sure, Cortez bonefish...it's not even a secret, it's just not really talked about... when you have the offshore fisheries like we do here in San Diego, not to many people want to catch bonefish in the bay. I'm all about the elusive "shiny and chrome" haha
@adamredden20072 жыл бұрын
This blows my mind . The best out there. Catch mag makes some good stuff but This is at least on that level.
@BryanTimm2 жыл бұрын
@@Valleymobwelding yup those bonefish rippppp too! So fricken fun and there sure are a lot of them. They get kicked to the side compared to all the other things people would rather target which trips me out.
@TroutMadeAnglerCo2 жыл бұрын
@@permitfisher @samscolamireri is correct. Not talked about, the Crovina and Spotted bay Bass take most of the attention of anglers in the bay.
@patsparks8731 Жыл бұрын
a little different experience as it’s not true Flats style Bonefishing but I’ve heard the same thing. Surf perch and Corbina are fun too here in SD.....but if you get the chance Go to Abaco or other islands in The Bahamas for an amazing bonefish experience. I went to Abaco for the first time about 18 years ago and I’ve been obsessed since.

I just discovered y'all last week and have been really enjoying your content! I just gotta say that when Adam hooks that Bone Fish at 29:55 and starts running I laughed so hard because without context it would look so silly. Good on y'all for chasing these fish and all the other trips you do. It's definitely inspiring me to get back out fishing!

Thanks for bringing us another great trip. Your “Short Bus Diaries “ make me want to travel the western US and Canadian Rockies for a summer, unfortunately fuel prices have made it impossible for me. This trip is epic. I can’t imagine a two week excursion with a drunken captain, chasing a species that nearly every fly fisher has on their bucket list. Keep them coming so SE Tennesseans, like myself, can experience what we missed when we were younger.

This is by far my favorite you tube channel. I also was surprised when I realized you all did not have a 100k subscribers just yet. I have no doubt you all will soon be one of the most well known fishing channels. I wish fly fishing in the south was bigger than it is. Especially in north Alabama, Aldridge creek is an amazing fly fishing spot especially where the creek widens as it enters the Tennessee river. Though this area will always be known for the bass in Lake Guntersville those anglers who do not venture into the fly a bit are missing out.

Stoked for you guys! Oceanside flats can be really tricky! There's a lot more learning and timing involved than inside flats or lagoons. Don't always overlook spending time on a higher tide on oceanside flats. Especially later in an incoming tide can be great for permit and snook (if they are around) when its no longer ankle deep but more like crotch deep .

My experience (a fair bit) is that remote flats/ fish (e.g. Joulter Cays off Andros) that haven’t been fished very much become ghost towns after a day or two of fishing. Fish the flat a day then move on. Flats/ fish that see regular pressure ( Key Biscayne or Green Turtle) will be there every day, but are VERY difficult. Great channel!

Awesome. I like how you use the music to foreshadow catches. It builds and builds and I don’t know whether to trust it. Is it gonna hit? You balance the “silent” times with the hits well. I don’t want to watch a highlight reel…I know what it’s like to catch a fish. But I don’t want to watch 10mins of silence, I know what it’s like to not catch a fish.
