This is another one to add on my bucket list. Logan... I got to give you big props. The camera work and cinematography is absolutely fantastic. There's a lot of truth and good advice here. I'll never have a lot of money, time is getting shorter. This year I'm taking my dad on a horseback drop camp elk hunt. He's never gone and I've never shot an elk. Would be a great time for my first, but even if I don't, it's going to be a fantastic experience. Experiences. I need more.

I hope that Gage knows how special this trip was for you and him. I do not get to fish with my dad anymore since he is now gone from this world. Each day I wish that I could just get a few more hours to fish with him. I am now trying to get my daughter into fishing so we can do with with each other. #HushLife

I spent two winters fishing in Cabo as a kid, and one of the old fellas staying in the RV park that we were staying at, was an Alaskan fishing guide. I would love to go fly fish in Alaska one day. This looks like a great trip!! Thanks for sharing!!

If you come to Alaska to fish don't think you're going to just be doing it once and then go on to the next thing. If fishing is something you love you will never be satisfied with fishing anywhere else in the world after coming to Alaska. Most people are "hooked" after one trip. I have had several days where I've caught a hundred trout in one day up there. If you hit the right stream in Alaska at just the right time a hundred fish day is truly possible. You'll be coming back year after year. I live on the water in Florida and I still can't wait to get back up to Alaska.

We were told the Inuit people believe that a fish in a net is a fish you must keep.
@ryanc27533 жыл бұрын
Local culture is you put a fish in the net you keep it. Plus if you're catch and releasing the fish you get your line back in the water quicker when you don't have to tangle from a net. There is so many fish you really don't care about carrying around a net.

Amazingly entertaining video. You guys looked like that five year old catching there first fish excited. That’s infectious to watch. Hey you get a chance there is a 11yr kid who started his own KZbin channel here in Oregon pushing for kids to get out fishing. I know he loves the Hush squad you guys are his inspiration. He’s put out like 5 videos over the last few weeks. It would mean the world to the kid if you checked one out and through him a comment. The channels name is Great Dane Outdoors.

All i gotta say is....Where the hell are all the nets?!
@ryanc27533 жыл бұрын
Locals don't like you catching and releasing fish. So if you net a fish you keep it. There is not an easy way to get fish frozen and kept from spoiling in the wilderness camp. So they catch and release them. Honestly there is so many fish in the river a net would slow down your fishing. I have fished there and it is unreal and super fun. They usually don't hold fish to much unless the person wants a picture. They try to keep the fish in the water and hence why the fishery is so good they are careful and don't kill all the fish.
